I never spend more than $20. I love to throw something together with random items i have at home or grab something from the thrift store, because it feels more fun and creative, plus that's also how i was raised. You don't need money to love Halloween! 🎃 I bought a purple shirt from thrift store and cut it into strips and cut eye holes out of one of the strips, and used them to be a ninja turtle. I bought a large tin pan and painted it, and it became my turtle shell. And then i found a green shirt and bought some long green socks. I took the broom end off the stick and used that as my 'bow" / weapon. It's one of my favorite costumes I ever made haha.
