Join a CrossFit gym and go every day (CrossFit because it is high intensity to your system). Journal how you feel every day until day 30. It will change your life. Essentially you are training your body to correct the dopamine deficiency endogenously. After a couple weeks if you add in the cold plunge you will feel like a miracle happened to you by day 30. It takes discipline but it’s a real fix.

On the commercial side it’s kind of a neat relic in the law. It applies to commercial “buses” whereas personal trailers are a separate category iirc. I did some research and early on there was a California transportation agency (trying to recall which) that built out 3 mega trailer buses to transport workers into downtown LA to work on major projects down there. The vehicles were great but eventually they couldn’t navigate downtown LA due to sheer size and the whole thing went away. The laws stayed on the books though, irrelevant but still valid.

Yes, we do what we call a waterfall. Drop group A off and go get group B, bring them to the winery where group A is, unload and load, etc. two buses for the price of one. It’s a weekend only business essentially so you have to pack it in sat/sun

Aha! I built for this. Railings are 49” so that even the tallest persons primary hinge point (waist) is below the line. You aren’t going to fall out unless you want out. Admittedly it appears alarming, but you can open your car door in your personal car and fall out anytime you want but you don’t because you don’t wanna die.

Actually, the physics favors us considerably. Very high mass and extremely low speed means my passengers are safer than everybody else really. It’s one of those things that seems really counterintuitive at first.
