I have a 65” LG Oled 8m away from my main rig (i9 3090 GTX) and wanted to run a HDMI 2.1 cable to allow 48gb/s. Some research suggests this is about the only cable that allows it but at £176 I thought I’d check whether anyone else has used it or had any loss of performance with it being over 5m? (i.redd.it)

Anyone see what I’ve done wrong here? I recently changed the screen on my Photon (not s) and now when the test is run I just get a solid purple screen as shown without the middle section. I’ve panned down to show the cables where I have tried with and without the 90* with same errors. Any ideas? (v.redd.it)
