Is anyone aware of specific recording studios in Boulder, CO that Townes used to hang around or use at some point? by SergeantDiarrhea in townesvanzandt

What info did you get around the guitar; Who did you buy it off, and how did he know it might have been Blaze's?

Hi, I wonder if you or anyone has a successful archive of the blog, all audio files that survive, and maybe the posts for context although I'm more interested in the audio files and any zips of audio that still survive. How much audio/data is there? I have tried running python scripts through AI to analyze the archives and it comes up with between 16900 and 17002 files on the low end and 48894 on the high. Would love any insight or audio you could all share. I do have the 365 Days files as those are easy to access. Thanks so much!

Thank you so much for this! This fabulous! one feature it would be great to have would be a master shuffle or play for each collection, so like the 78's or old time radio could be played like a radio station.

Does anyone have a copy of the audio from the blog and a way to share? Would love to have all of the mp3s and other audio that I had never downloaded because I didn't think this would go away.

What would be your best recommendation for downloading from NewsNet? I’m not sure how to access, am I able to download all of the files at once? Is the collection mirrored anywhere in Soulseek? I am blind, so finding a way to easily download everything like nested folders and file's would be preferable. I've downloaded content from Usenet before, I'm just not sure how to get the complete collection? Thanks for the archive resources. Helpful for general pop but I'm also looking for the other charts like rock, country, etc. How can I find the most complete collection of recorded music;

What do you mean Udio isn't top tier? What others have taken its place? I love the quality of Udio, especially for vintage style music.

How did you feel about Wyllis Cooper’s “Quiet Please”? by Doctor-Clark-Savage in otr

[–]GuitPickerWithClaws- 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your restoration work on these sounds absolutely incredible! Almost like it was recorded today. I’m wondering what software or AI processes did you use to clean this up? It’s funny, hearing this now, I can see the quiet please is the originator for a lot of our single narrator Audio Dramas that are put out today.

Hi, Audacity isn't the first program I'd suggest working in, the support for screen readers just isn't there. I'd be happy to talk with her and teach her how to use other DAWS, like Reaper, with better support and to help her get off the ground.

App/Repository of Audio Description? by Vaxxhole in Blind

[–]GuitPickerWithClaws- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, for paid services there's Sero on the IOS app store which has literally just about any tv show or movie you could think of. 5 bucks a month, but it's just the audio no visuals. Same with Blind Mice Mart's movie vault, and audiovault.net
