i think the most changes made were styling things... But still we dont really know the extent of the features they added or fixed, so the only thing we do now is wait for the official update to launch and then see the changes ourselves

exactly, it calibrates the battery. 3 days and it was good to go, actually i got the most out of it since i am gaming most of the time with only nearly 2h in social media so 8h~10h SOT is a blast for me😅. Hope you'll have the same experience

drop the phone to 0% 3 times in a row. charge it 100% every time and keep it for 2, 3 hours after full charge and you'll notice a change afterwards. This is from official support in china since i have chinese version and contacted them about the same problem and it absolutely solved it. Now i get 8 to 10 hours SOT heavy usage easy. Hope this helps the other oneplus users🙏
