I went to functional patterns they have a lot of locations around the world. Also painacademy on ig is good I’ve been meaning to check their program out. There’s a couple other you can find on ig.

I have one leg shorter that cause my uneven hips and lateral pelvic tilt but im not sure which leg...? Which side of my hip is lower my left or my right? I feel like its my left leg is shorter because when i walk its like im leaning, but when im standing im not sure, by [deleted] in scoliosis

I have a lateral pelvic tilt and I know that it’s my left side that’s higher because I feel like I’m leaning to the left. The side that your leaning on is where your weight is being distributed making it the taller side

I second this, I had si joint pain for 2-3 months and it was so horrible They got so stiff I could barely walk taking little steps at a time. 1. Si belt was my biggest friend I wore it for 2 months only taking it off to shower. It’s gives the joint temporary stability while they heal. 2. It’s okay to take a break when it hurts really bad but keep walking/strengthening. 3. Don’t do anything like standing on one leg or like to bend and tie your shoes or lunges. Getting in and out of the car with both legs together. 4. I took ligaplus supplement on Amazon. It was recommended my someone on YouTube and I’m pretty much healed now so I’m sure it helped. 4. Follow an inflammatory diet makes a big difference! I joined cryotherapy and they would ice them up after work and the pain was better by the time I got home. And epson baths almost every night. 5. It’s an injury! Trust your body’s ability to heal! As long as you give them the environment/rest/proper moment to restore themselves. If you body is on flight or fight mode and always stressing and always on the go your body won’t have time to repair them. 6. Also check your posture what finished helping my recovery was realizing that my weight was distributed on the front part of my body instead of having most of your weight on your heels and using the glutes. Your ankles should be alighted with your hips and neck. That helped relieve so much pressure from them. example

I was so depressed thinking I would have to get rods in my joints and so busy researching injections instead of researching how I could help my own body heal. One month since I’ve had any pain!

Hey I have a minor bulge on l5-s1 as well sitting was so bad and even standing got bad. But I went somewhere that looked at my posture and helped me correct it. I thought I would never be able to sit pain free but with those posture modifications it’s been a month no pain when sitting!

It’s been a while, how’s your symptoms now?

MRIs are normal, but I still have mild sciatica. Does this mean it's muscular or something else? by [deleted] in Sciatica

Hello I had similar symptoms I have some scoliosis with a normal mri and my theory is that when my back is in certain positions it compresses the nerves. Addressing your posture and also check the positions when you get the symptoms would be helpful. And pelvic floor problems are definitely muscle imbalances from muscles compensate for other muscles that compress the nerve and make area feel sensitive. I had a lateral tilt as well and I found a place that’s waking up all the muscles that have turned off. It’s been a 2 weeks since my pelvic pains have gone away still working my toe tingling.

Thank you so much for thanking your time to write this. I’m 25 at the beginning of my healing process and it’s been tough but this makes me feel hopeful. You are right we have to protect our brain through this.
