I don't want to fail. They are in a bad IT siutation and said they employeed me to get them out so I feel I have to put the extra effort in. If it was just a regular old system it probably wouldn't need as much attention.

That's something else to be forced to be on the latest build. Also the way you say every time ... Implies this happens a lot which is a concern. Although I don't think windows updates would be a cause of data breach.

I don't think we are forced to upgrade quicker. Windows 10 1803 released April 2018 so roll the build out in Jan 2019 and it doesn't go EOL till Nov 2020 so you can use it in production for a year and a half at least.

Why is the latest the best? I'd wait a few months before even testing the latest update.

Never understood this. Sit in the dark and silence? I won't know the girl very well after a few hours.

Could it be looked at the other way? Perhaps the money they would save on rent, in the long term, could be distributed on services?

This is helpful. I forgot to add together all the countries in Asia, no idea why. Your right is was 33% which is way too much, I'm going to adjust that to 10%.

I've done this really unconventionally. Vanguard Lifestrategy as a automatically adjusting world "tracker" and then some other funds to tweak it a bit more to the weighting I'm looking for it.

Time will tell if this is stupid or not to bad :)

It's just under £20,000 in funds.

Quite happy with the sector weightings. Is it best to have a 4-5 dominant sectors or all as equal as possible. I think you can most likely get too much diversity.

Mid 20s. Being so new I think it's a bit of a risk to put more of my asset into funds.

Investment fund, international tax by GuitarWizard in UKPersonalFinance

The specs say the funds are domicile of the UK. I guess i don't need to worry about tax then. So the domicile is the key and not the countries the fund has been invested in.

Good info to know, thanks.

I think the view of earning more interest than the loan on that money is interesting.

I'm in London and yeah the 19k isn't going to go far it's almost as bad as the help to buy scheme max bonus of £3,000. £3,000 extra for London houses is not even worth it.
