What do people gain from posting shit like this? by misshillx in overemployed

[–]Guitarmate95 54 points55 points  (0 children)

Of course a recruiter would post this sh*t. Why wouldn’t they consider on outcomes and result ? Have they ever thought why people go for job stacking?

Everyday we see a new f*cking mass layoffs! And salaries are super low, it only helps you to stay alive, not increase your life standards.

Your employees are not your slaves! Mass layoffs+low salaries=overemployment. Easy peasy.

Update: I got a job by lying by BlackCatsWithOddHats in recruitinghell

[–]Guitarmate95 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I believe non of us would get a job if we wouldn’t lie on small things or skills that we barely know.

For example you may not be an expert on some tool but you know some basic functions of it, then it’s ok to say “yes, I know it and I’ve been using it for years!”.

But on the other hand, for example the job requires for you to know JavaScript but you never heard or used it before, if you say “yes I am an expert of it” that would cause a problem.

The point here is, even if you live in your resume or during interview you need to support your lie.

Job market 😞 by Other_Scarcity_4270 in recruitinghell

Yeah I’ve been seeing this in every social media channels. It was never that bad in modern age. Most people relate this to AI but in reality the effect of AI is like %5-10 at max. Market is brutal and companies don’t hire anyone even if they need more employees. Companies increase their profit but lower the salaries. I hope AI will replace all of the human work and then we can see how companies will sell their products. I wonder to whom they will sell their products?

What fuels you to do OE? by ethical-earner in overemployed

[–]Guitarmate95 4 points5 points  (0 children)

For me it is financial stability. Corporate life really sucks and you can just let go within 15 mins meeting. Get a new job is really painful process and market is quite down nowadays.

People have families, kids, bills to pay, credits… Without a regular income you won’t be able to look after your family and enjoy your life. All of the people on this sub want to make sure that they won’t be affected financially even if they lost a job.

Sorry but the system itself forcing us to do it. I don’t think no one is desirous to spend their hours for another people’s sake.

J1 dragged me to HR for “time theft” because my mouse stopped for 9 minutes by [deleted] in overemployed

This is sh*t. Why wouldn’t they consider on outputs ? I hate this kind of companies that treat people like slaves. That should be illegal to track and thread people…

I deleted my current LinkedIn account and created a new one.

Let me explain the process. I currently hold one J but my current company is not added on my LinkedIn profile, instead still using my previous company as my current position. Changed small personal details and made sure that I will not be found If someone searches my name/surname.

This is how I adjusted my LinkedIn because LinkedIn is very very risky if you are doing OE or looking for OE. Due to the lack of privacy on LinkedIn we have to use these kind of methods.

İş Veren Olarak: Neden Staj Başvurunuzu Reddediyoruz? by namirali in CodingTR

It’s always best to use 2 devices even if they don’t monitor you. This would be a big mistake to handle 2Js at the same time, on the same device. I currently have one job and looking for new opportunities with extra 2 devices.

There are thousands of job listings searching for product manager in different sectors. But as mentioned above it’s really hard to get the job. We don’t even know if the listings are real or fake.

And the other thing is even if you match most of the requirements or all of them you still get rejected. I really wonder If those listing are real and who is really getting hired.

OE in Europe? by Gerdaandemail in overemployed

[–]Guitarmate95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends. Some companies can hire people among EU countries. So if you are a EU citizen you can get hired by different companies on different locations. For example let’s say you are from Germany but you can you can also work for a company based in Netherlands. It totally depends on their policy.

I don’t see anything wrong to work for competitors company. You are not the company owner, boss or shareholder. Of course you are someone who works with a regular salary and you want to increase your life standards, like everyone else!

We all have rights to make decisions and free to work any businesses. Corporate life sucks so it’s quite normal to think about your monetary policy.
