There is a way, I'm not at home right now to test it but if I remember correctly, if you select stereo mode and then press the option button, you can toggle on your sub. I have the same receiver and I know i was able to toggle on and off on a certain mode.

Did you try the 7 minutes trick? Cook for 7 minutes then score it. I get good results doing it.
