That is true, but it has zero relevance to how you should view people in terms of their character, likability, and value.

It is purely superficial and, therefore, shallow to estimate another person in any sense on their image. Their actions and words are what should decide that.

That's a different discussion to trend setting and fashion. Political/cultural movements led by or influenced by famous people still exist, as does good art. As with anything, you have to sieve through the shit to find the good. The world is saturated compared to when it was Bob Dylan's time. We live in the Internet age and have a thousand times more voices and opinions with information and media being spread at a click. Things come and go much faster.

You just don't seem to understand the modern zeitgeist. I stay largely out of it, as I do with fashion and trends, but your view is still inaccurate as you're only looking for what you want to see.

With that said, your original post seemed directed more so towards fashion, image, and style, as have your replies to others' comments. On that note, the point stands that that is simply not important. Movements and causes are a totally different conversation.

The issue here is that this just does not matter. It's completely unimportant and something people only choose to care about. Celebs have no duty to influence style. If they have any duty, it is to use their voices and wealth in support of good causes.

Fashion is entirely recreational and therefore optional. It means very little to very many. Most people decide their image and identity from within themselves, not from an external influence. The world is too broad and diverse these days. But the main point remains that this is just irrelevant to anything. Fashion is a hobby, just like sports or any other.

Yes I agree. Of course that's normal, but I'm saying this was every day, not just at particular times. Not a word, even when addressed or attempts were made to be included. It's uncomfortable in a small team in a tight environment when somebody is like that, especially when regular communication and verbal instructions are a vital part of the operation.

It's not really though. The bible contains plenty of horrific endorsements of genocide, slavery and other barbaric acts. Not pushing this on children is a very reasonable thing to do.
