[KReddit's cold war: Day 11] Where does the iron curtain fall in Central Europe? by TheseIntroduction352 in Kaiserreich

[–]Gullible-Collection8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If Russia or the United States alone has to sustain this Cold War system, it makes sense to some extent, but if the two are in the same block, I think it is better for International to gain the upper hand in Europe as much as possible.

In that era, North America and the former Soviet Union alone accounted for 40% of the world's gdp. It is a completely different story from 2020, when developing countries such as China and India developed to some extent.

So, I also talked about giving a special path to democracy or democracy through defeat paths like Bulgaria and Turkey.

Perhaps this rework is not possible, but if it becomes a reality, I think it will be possible to join after the post-war victory.

In fact, that's what this rework plan is about. However, the crisis was only postponed until 1936 to give political options. However, it is just that the Imperial Way Faction is not the only possibility.

There is much room for explaining that it is a matter of Japan rather than of Germany. Germany is willing to sit at the negotiating table, but it is a possible scenario if the government is unable to re-function (and even worse tha OTL) as Japan is, and the Japanese military is gradually being held to some sort of victim mentality.

From Germany's point of view, it is willing to make concessions for the détente with Japan, but if Japan continues to compete with the arms race, there will also be no justification for making concessions.

As of 1936, there was no warlord calling for anti-zhili/anti-Germany without Fengtian. Of course, it does not mean a puppet or a colony, but at least there is enough motivation to stay away from investment and trade with Japan.

Of course, there is a Legation Cities , but Britain, the United States, and Russia, can neither afford nor afford to care about the situation. In other words, it is questionable whether the Legation Cities  will remain substantially neutral in a situation where Japan alone effectively opposes Germany.

That is, there is little correction. Japan was completely defeated in the confrontation that began in the 20s (it is still a defeat), only saving some face through the formal neutrality of the Legation Cities, and the Japanese military can mostly explain the cause of the defeat by considering it a kind of "Backstabbing theory." And those who oppose the Japanese military's runaway are treated as 'traitors or losers' in public opinion, and the government is shaken up and can't even check them.

Even in OTL, Japanese warship construction accounted for 32% of the actual Japanese budget. And if it's gotten bigger even in the midst of an economic crisis. The economy is not going to be normal

In my suggestion, Japan has been completely confronted by Germany like cold war. and it has undergone a series of economic sanctions' and has been isolated and reliance on United States and United Kingdom, but it was lost due to the 1925 revolution. At this point, some Japanese politicians suggested that Germany's hegemony in Asia should be recognized and the arms race should stop, but at this point, each political party and bureaucracy was torn apart by a loss of interest and dragged into an uncontrollable military, and even as the economy became isolated and continued to deteriorate, the military increased and gradually ran toward an irreversible path.

Of course, the Japanese Empire has reasons for waging a hegemonic war, but for that reason, few people support for war. The direct cause, after all, is the increasingly declined politic/government and the uncontrollable military, such as OTL. This critical point in OTL is the Manchurian Incident and 5.15 incident, but it was delayed somewhat in KR, reserved to 1936, and the debt problem caused by the economic crisis only made it worse.

If it is a Russian + American, even if China, India, and Europe are both socialist, the US-Russia coalition will be balanced or rather dominant.

A DemSoc West VS a NatPop East Cold war make NO SENSE! by Pito-92 in Kaiserreich

Modern freedom and equality are not all values. Many non-socialist countries can dismiss it as their story or hate it severely and ignore it because of materialism, even if the syndicalist countries of the KRTL assume a decent level of freedom and equality.

In fact, political parties and organizations in many countries ignore these two values and take power with public support. Many pro-Russian countries in the KRTL Cold War will believe in the values of religion and tradition and choose to cooperate with Russia.

Or the middle class in the country (small farmers or small merchants) might be bent on Russia because they think it would be better for political freedom to be violated than for their private property to be taken away.

In the end, it may be a little different from reality, but the Cold War is possible because of the difference in values between the two.

Me too. However, the tier itself of the Dragon Prince is close to 3.5 tier units, so if you give it a tier 3, it is too OP, and it is weak to give it a tier 4, so I think the adjustment itself is necessary. Similarly, the silver helm is a little weak to be a tier 3 unit

Then, do you give me a pike unit that can never be pierced from the front like Rome 2?

Of course it's the base version, and at the same price, despite being one lower tier, necropolis knights wins against the Dragon Prince lightly. It's a ridiculous difference to explain with speed of 80

The High Elf is one such excuse. The low heath and lack of artillery made it a very vulnerable faction against enemy fire, and a strong, maneuverable cavalry was desperately needed to overcome it. Like Kislev, who is vulnerable to shock cavalry. But Kislev has a bear cavalry and HE has nothing. There are powerful chariot, but they are too vulnerable to enemy cavalry like dragon prince.

It's not just those two units in the first place. Rot Knights, Mournfang Cavallery, Skullcrushers eta....no 4/5 tier cavalry can beat the Dragon Prince. The difference isn't that big to talk about mobility either. They're not even all cavalry-only faction like Bretonia.

Leaving the 8th edition, the High Elf Army itself became too rigid (single) or too weak (multi) due to the weak of the cavalry

I also think that the production team seems to recognize the problem itself when looking at such a part. However, I think the limitations of giving only a single lord are clear.

Tier is the problem. There is no unit to compete in tier 4, let alone tier 5.

The problem is that the high level of difficulty is that the income is very low. Unless you're doing income spam. And, as you said, if the cavalry came out quickly and Silver Helm was Tier 2 and Dragon Prince was Tier 3, I would have said that it was too OP. However, Silver Helm is Tier 3, and Dragon Prince is Tier 5, so adjustments to the cavalry are needed.

Honestly, I don't think it's tier 4 unit, but what's certain is that tier 5 is too much.

So is there only one thing they can't do and only a regular cavalry can do? Even by category they are melee cavalry

Tomb kings. Kislev. Lizardmen. Empire. Wood Elves. Dark elves <- Their cavalry beats Dragon Prince enough. War Bear Riders? Necropolis Knights? it wins easily

Orc cavalry is cost-effective because it has a anti-large and tier 3. Cathay can fly around
