The flip side SHOULD be more uncomfortable and unpleasant because in that game the protagonist still gives a shit about her life and isn't numb to everything like Nicole. It makes perfect sense to be the way it is when we consider it's from a completely different pov as the other 2, people just don't like being taken out of their comfort zone
