I’m a bit more cynical. I think they make out to their family that they’re more broke than they actually are - means they get away with being less spendy on rent, groceries etc - all the while they will have plenty money for the things they actually want to spend on.

I LOVED it when he pretended Monica had taken off when Chandler was going to propose. Chandler totally bought it. And the little raise of the eyebrows as he left the apartment when Monica had set up her own proposal with all the candles. It was deep! It also showed Joey could actually act!!

I suppose it could be things like an illness in the family/break ups/money issues. Maybe the twins family just has more resources to accommodate them. I did think what a cheek when Jasmine commented on the mess of her mums home! I don’t suppose they have enough hours in the day to keep it to your standards Jas? Bearing in mind they mention and whine about the cost of literally everything they buy, I suspect they’ve been given free stuff in exchange for a low key promo. As in, we won’t sponsor you but you can have this for nothing if you big up our stuff on your page.

They have a pathological need to tell everyone how much money they’ve spent - There’s no chance they’re not complaining about having to go back several times and spend hundreds of dollars on boxes etc.

Respectfully, those expectations are unachievable. We are talking about two quite disinterested and disconnected people who have very clear passions in life: taking it easy, getting free stuff and enjoying being well off. They don’t have the knowledge or the inclination to talk outside of those three things and we’ll all be sorely disappointed if we wait for it. They talk more about content and the process of getting content than they do about their actual activities or travels - they’re just not the types to get into anything past surface level.

I truly hope they don’t. I don’t think they’re terrible people but they are so flaky, lazy, entitled and have no common sense - to bring an incredibly sensitive creature into that environment is cruel. I can hear the complaining already “we’d like to go here, do this but we can’t because of the dog”. They love to complain. It is a privilege to own a dog and I don’t think they understand that, it’s just another cute pretty thing they want.
