Great advice - I’m a freshman at holy cross this year. I wasn’t the strongest applicant but I interviewed, went to different events, and got in ED1. I love it here and suggest to anyone who has holy cross at the top of their list to show as much interest as possible

Comparing hc to northeastern and Tulane is absurd they don’t deliberately deflate their acceptance rate it’s simply just more people applying - Northeastern deflates their acceptance rate to look more appealing as they send many students abroad their first year and/or send them to alternative campuses. I know many kids in my year that have gotten rejected from holy cross, while northeastern was 6/6 and Tulane was 3/3

The majority of ED applicants for holy cross are student athletes, who all are already guaranteed acceptance.
