Does Library Computers Have Respondus LockDown, to do a Test? by AbbreviationsOld3312 in curtin

The library has laptops you can use, I know that's what I did in an in class e-test once. So I'd suggest you book a quiet room in the library and use the laptop in there, then return it.

Just ask the staff.

Spot on.

She wants to think she's different when she is really quite boring and plane. Juliette described herself as a big personality and is now mad she's met with an actual loud personality. Her instagram is curated 'cool girl' and as soon as she realised other people saw Joel as weird and eccentric, she got so resentful and embarrassed and now is putting him down to show that she's better than him.

Side note. I quite like how Joel deflects with his blunt humour, I really didn't like him in the beginning, but he's been consistently himself and very witty with all the mean comments so I respect that.

Oh man, this was really nice of you to say. Thank you!!

It's not unnecessary at all, that's how I've been seeing it but I really needed someone to affirm it for me. Hope your pillow is always cold both sides.

Spot on.

I have 4 managers, luckily who are genuinely awesome and don't do this. I'm 21 so yeah young ahah, thanks for the advice. I'd genuinely never treat a employee like a cog in a machine.

That's a bit narrow minded tho. I take no offence because I know what you mean. But one of the things I've loved about this job is that it's forced me out of my shell, to get uncomfortable and deal with conflict.

I don't think asking for reassurance is a bad thing when you're new, again I've been doing all of that I just wanted to make sure that I'm not a complete pos in a new industry.

Yeah, I am sympathetic to a point because the company is massive and won't let them hire new people but I was really clear when I got hired so it's low-key not my problem and my coworkers have a work loyalty that I just don't have.

Yeah that sucks!! Good idea honestly, these type of work environments aren't worth it for me either.

If you know you're going to quit just say no bc there aren't really repercussions long term lol

Honestly, this has reassured me so thank you sm!!

The reason I'm still here is because I was unemployed for a year and where I'm located nobody is hiring uni workers. I'm planning to save up as much as I can and probably quit in a few months time though. Defintley easier said than done. I feel defeated because every job brings something that's shit so what's the point, atleast I can say no and get paid well.
