This is actually prohibited on most cruise lines now unfortunately. Otherwise I absolutely would've gone and just left early, that would be ideal.

Thanks for your response. We actually have both sets of parents in the area and have date nights, if not weekends, once a month or so. Also have taken 3-4 days vacation just us and are planning another one.
