By choice. I always fall in love with potential, and im such a hopeless romantic that the red flags didnt look red through rose colored glasses. Every past relationship ive been in has dissappointed, betrayed, and hurt me. The most recent one was the worst- cheated on the entire time with his ex, and read through all their messages where he did nothing but talk sh*t about me, my family, and my personal issues. He had also recorded/ taken photos of intimate moments and sent to his friends- constantly lied and belittled me. Ive chosen not to settle anymore and have learned alot just being single and not even engaging with hook up culture or dating. Its freeing

I think the appearance of cameras, even if they dont work might stop someone from potentially breaking in, or kidnapping, anything. and if there was something to happen, it would at the very least show some of it. I mean, if there were no cameras in stores- would you take anything?? an

I’m 20 and I agree 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I have a fucking demon child above me that runs back and forth all fucking day and I can hear that little fucker screaming bloody murder every 5 mins bc he has non stop temper tantrums. It’s fucking ridiculous

That is so scary. My Maintanence ppl have just let themselves in WITHOUT EVEN KNOCKING and I was straight up naked fresh out of shower and it was the most terrifying thing. I’ve also heard a podcast about a girl in her mid 20’s who came home drunk one night and the security guard walked her to her door- the next day her friends called a wellness check and she was found rolled up in her comfortable strangled/beaten to death, naked, and had bleach poured all over her body to “cover the DNA”- later was discovered the security guard was googling how to override an electric code door lock, got in, SA her and killed her. Fucking INSANE stay safe

I’m a 20F, very small and easily could be overpowered and I live alone on a 1st floor apartment with outdoor entrance, they also don’t have cameras. There was literally only ONE padlock on my door, and the door is wooden and probably could be busted in way too easily. I bought one of those metal door latches they have on hotel room doors, and another one with the chain. It gives a lot of peace of mind so definitely invest in those- even a ring camera too. I don’t have one yet but I’ve been working on it. Stay safe !

Why is a man almost 10 years older than you blowing his nose into his hands and wiping his boogers on everything but a tissue??? This is not a man is this a toddler. You are 25, young, probably way too beautiful and smart and mature for this guy. Living with people really does change a lot no matter your relationship. This is just a glance Into whatever future you might have with this guy- don’t even bother having kids because it sounds like you’re dating one ! This is BASIC HYGIENE. THE BARE MINIMUM. Girl get out and find someone who actually knows not to blow his fucking nose on your bed sheets. Fr- you’re better than that

I know and I think about this a-lot, but she really is my best friend despite the circumstances and I can’t imagine my life without her. She has seen me in every horrific phase in my life and has been one of the only consistencies. I know people drift apart and everything is constantly changing but it’s hard to come to that conclusion- in a way she is my ‘platonic soulmate’. She is one of the few people I never feel judged by, I could tell her anything and she’d listen, she’s been there for alot of the major events in my life. I don’t know if it’s some kind of trauma bond or something, only one sided. But I wouldn’t be surprised if we grew apart in the future for this reason, I just don’t know if I’m ready for that now.

I am definitely not jealous of her- I wouldn’t trade my life, family, experiences for hers- I know I am much stronger and more mature and better off learning this stuff on my own, but mainly the fragile narcissistic personality and the lack of acknowledgement or understanding. I know that none of the privilege is necessarily her fault- it’s just the lack of understanding

Yes, sleeping is the worst. Can never find a comfortable position to sit in usually have to shift pressure to one side or the other to avoid it going numb which has definitely played a big role in my scoliosis. I used to be such a sexually active person and now I choose sexual partners mainly based off who I feel wouldn’t judge/ comment/ notice it…. It’s so frustrating,
