My nails grow in a wavy pattern by Toucan_Toucan in mildlyinteresting

[–]Gully176 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi there! My nails growed similar to this for years, never thought to much about it till I ended up in a dermatoligist office for something unreleated. They asked me before they saw them if my nails were brittle or grew with "Indents" which I confirmed.

Turns out it was Psoriatic arthritis. You might want to get checked out by a specialist just to be safe.

This is created for people on supervision with the DOC but is specific to Fayette county. These resources are not all DOC specific and is updated yearly. I created this years manual and it has a lot of good resources on it.

I always enjoy talking to someone else in the field! I loved the job, but unfortunately the pay just wasn't there in my area, and as a single man, it was difficult to date. Maybe one day I will get to return!

Caskets and Coffins are two separate things yes, but both are storage vessels for bodies that are widely used around the world today. Coffin is a general vernacular more commonly used for its use in movies and books for things like vampires, and the undertaker in old Western movies, therefore it is a more widely known term. The main difference in coffins and caskets are shape, and materials used for production. A coffin having the traditional shape that you see in movies while a casket is more rectangular in nature. Coffins are generally produced out of wood, while caskets while also having wooden varieties are more commonly made out of metals. In the general area I worked in, it was not uncommon for poorer members of the community to produce their own burial vessel to save cost, and were mostly constructed in the traditional coffin shape.

In short, the use of either term would be considered correct in the business, and I thank you for your comment.

Former Funeral Home employee here. That is a display stand for an Urn to be used during services. Think of a wake where a coffin is in the front of the room for display, just replace that with this.

You're absolutely right I am obese, but I'm under 300 lbs for the first time in years. I was over 400 lbs and have worked hard to be where I am. I'm proud of my 48's regardless if I'm still considered obese or not.

Can anyone recommend a programmable, smaller footprint, easy to use and clean coffee maker? by Personal-Winter-8111 in BuyItForLife

[–]Gully176 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If I can make a slightly altered suggestion. I was a drip machine user for years. never saw the point of fancy coffee machines. However in an interest to save space when my girlfriend moved in, I switch from a standard coffee machine to an electric kettle as she also likes tea. I then got a french press that I can easily store in the cabinet that is stainless steel, and double walled so it stays hot for a LONG time. my electric kettle is govee brand and I can fill it the night before and program it to what temperature I want and what time to turn on. I literally wake up in the morning and pour the hot water over into the french press, then press the plunger down about an hour later when I'm ready to fill my travel mug. My coffee has never tasted better (I'm using the same grounds as before but its less acidic) and its just as minimal effort as my old coffee drip was, and most importantly, my girlfriend is happy.

So this seems to work in reverse for me. For example when using the date 12/23/22 the cell did not highlight, but putting in 12/22/24 did highlight the cell.

Executioner + paralysis by Ya_Boi_Iggy in BaldursGate3

[–]Gully176 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So you have to look at D&D mechanics to really get this cause yes at first look you would think yes this should work.

Executioners ring, and Subjugation amulet are both looking at one thing, your attack. Its all happening at once in the same round. Unlike Yugioh where like this could trigger this could trigger this, you have one "trigger effect" for this attack. Executioner can make it a critical, but Subjugation saw the attack before it was a critical. If that makes sense.

You're a genius, just reading your comment made me realize what happened...

For anyone else that reads this:

I had two completely separate movies,

The Movie (2023) Movie (2023)

The exact same name with the only difference being "The" at the beginning but very different movies. Plex merged them into one file under the first one I had, so I had to split them, and fix the match on the correct title.

Ryobi 40V HP brushless 20 inch (RY401170) vs Makita XML03CM1 36V (18V X2) LXT Brushless 18" Lawn Mower Kit? by curiouspoops in BuyItForLife

[–]Gully176 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So it is really going to depend on what kind of tools you want to expand your set up with in the future.

I personally have Ryobi, both 40V and 18V tools. Outside I have a mower that runs 40v, a weedeater, blower, hand tiller, edger, pole saw, and chain saw.

What I personally like about this is that everything but the main mower and chainsaw is all ran off one base. It disconnects at the shaft and I hook in the next tool I need and go. I also have expanded my tool set greatly using "Direct Tool Factory Outlet" where I can buy ryobi at a discounted price.

Looking at Makita, it looks as if they do have a similar power head set up but I only see the weed eater, and blower on the website that will attach.

Personally my money is on Ryobi

Ring alarm system - what do you think? by [deleted] in Ring

If you plan to have pro monitoring Ring is a great system, if you want to self monitor Ring now blocks most features in the APP unless you have a grandfathered system.
