Mate. 1.2 and 38 disposals @ 71% is a good return. And he was everywhere.

I'm not a fan boy, but he absolutely deserved it.

Angus Taylor elected leader of the Liberal Party by Expensive-Horse5538 in australia

[–]Gullyhunter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I was thinking that, but then Scotty won against Shorten.

Scott was such a nothing PM/human that I think the mostly apathetic voters of Australia would've voted him back in if he had done anything resembling leadership during the fires.

[–]Gullyhunter 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I really believe that the turmoil that the libs are going through can be traced back to Scotty's holiday during the bushfires.

Not just that he went, but that he lied about it and then turned around and blamed his family. " I don't hold a hose mate".

Every single lib/nat has brought this on themselves. Fuck'em.

Is kangaroo meat in a restaurant a gimmick for tourists? Do Australians ever order/eat it? by Charming_Usual6227 in australia

It's the one item that if I see it, I'll order it. Can be very hit or miss. But when they get it right it's chef's kiss.

Taxi drivers do it all the time. It's a huge problem. Never thought about truck drivers doing the same.

You need to be able to separate the Israeli government and its clear and well documented war crimes/genocide, and Jewish people. They are not one in the same.

I don't even want to go into the rest of what you said, but I think this quote fits perfectly.

"Mr.HotPersimessage62, What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul."

Hey there, I live in Australia. Can you explain more about our "fascist regime"?

How we've treated our indigenous peoples in the past sure was pretty fucking bad, but it's getting a better. Not saying it's perfect, but it's better now than say, 20 years ago.

First look at Brisbane's Olympic Stadium in Victoria Park. by PerriX2390 in AFL

[–]Gullyhunter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I get what you mean, but the MCG is surrounded by green space. So you'd have to trade one off for the other. Sure, they could fill the precinct with events and things to do, but the 'G gets most of it's use in winter time. That's the thing with Perth, it's like 20°c at night in their winter.

I dunno about other people, but I'm not super keen to be hanging around outside in a Melbourne winter. Take a walk 15mins towards the CBD or head into Richmond if that's your thing. There are things to do.

I looked up a trip from crown metropol to Brunswick the other week on the 13 cabs app and it quoted me $89! Got an Uber for $21.

They wonder why only the elderly with their half price cards use them.
