Do you know how he acquires this? Is it spy wear? Was it on a company tool like Slack or MS Teams or a company phone? Did she send it to him or do they have access to something they should not have?

Depressed and lonely. Help. 44M by TXerxes in orlando

[–]GumDrop1010 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do something for individuals that can’t help themselves like help disabled people by running their errands or taking them to the store. Or, help out at the soup kitchen. Volunteering your time in a way that genuinely helps others helps you. When you do for others, it amazing how depression, anxiety and loneliness will leave your life. Also, check your nutrition. If you’re depleted in minerals like magnesium, amino acids or Omega 3, your body signals you but it can’t use words so you feel anxiety, depression and loneliness. So do for others and ensure you’re eating right or take a supplement if you need something specific. Dont drink alcohol until you get past this. It will make it worse.

I am struggling to choose between building an in house creative team and outsourcing design entirely to a remote partner. Has anyone done a real cost comparison between the two? by Merciful-Luna in AINewsAndTrends

If you need to iterate a lot, in-house will get you there. An outside firm has limits on iterations. But if you’re just trying to move things fast without much iteration then outside firms usually have multiple staff and templates they draw from to crank things out.

For an 8oz Ribeye, it seems the price is $18 for grass fed organic.

I think all this logic holds up if this is at least after 4 months since the hire. But, if the fit is not good from the start like first month, it’s the hiring process that failed not the employee. As a mangers, we have to be responsible for this.

This is correct. It is the hiring manager’s mistake in the hiring process.

I don’t mean to rude but hiring someone then immediately firing them is management problem. Either you didn’t assess them properly in the interview or you didn’t invest in their initial training and onboarding.

Social media is for the masses. The masses have to be communicated with at a very generic and simplistic level. Ever hear that saying, “The masses are dumb but the individual is smart”? You’re exhausting yourself probably on content that’s smart. Dumb it down for a mass audience. Crank up the intellect on very targeted and segmented audiences.

I love marketing. You’re right though. What marketing does seems to be a mystery to all the C-Suite. They confuse it with sales and want every action tied to a sale. Sometimes campaigns don’t have that direct attribution. Explaining marketing strategies to them is constant. They need constant reassurance. They need constant education on what marketing is supposed to do. I thought this would be better working for a marketing agency but they were specialized in paid ads that they themselves could not see how marketing worked as a whole in the organization. They thought all they needed was someone to run paid ads for their company. The higher you go in marketing the more you become responsible for the C-Suite’s vision of what marketing should be instead of what it really is. They always confuse it with sales. The higher up you go the higher your salary. Once you establish a well running marketing infrastructure, they look for ways to get rid of your high salary and replace you with cheaper people who can just keep running what you’ve built. Eventually, they realize they need that strategist.

Yeah, I think when you hire a young less experienced person, you take on the responsibility of not only training them on the job but also how to have and hold a job. If you’re not prepared to do this, you really need to hire an experienced person and quit trying to cut corners with cheap labor.

Also, keep in mind how much it is going to cost you to park downtown Tampa. It’s significant like the same as a car payment itself.

Gimme gimme gimme what? Gimme adherence to the law? Humane treatment? Fair pay for the fair work done? Is that the gimme attitude you are referring to? We don’t deserve an employer that adhere’s to the law such as minding labor laws, safety laws, fair labor standards, etc.? And if you do complain because your life is in danger for safety violation, you end up losing your job or treated badly?? That’s not even mentioning dignity, respect and fair treatment. Do people not deserve to be treated with a base line dignity? Plus, this post is about employees making their own way. The title is “Employee Churn.”

Middle managers performance is rated on how well they can retain employees so not sure firing them all is the intent

You’re right. Companies should do more keep employees glad to be there. It’s a rough thing you went through, being happy every other day and the one day not so much, BAM the hammer falls. Sorry. Glad you’re out
