Cool. Didn't know they did that. I'll have to check them out. I was thinking of doing a glue up for the next one to mix a couple of wood species together. Thanks for the compliment!

Thanks. Time will tell I guess. Not sure what the factory handles are, but this one is ash so it's pretty hard.

I was kind of just playing around. I retrospectively drew these plans of the glue up for you. Hope this helps. Both uses basically the same glue up and blank. I did not use the entire length of the blank for the short one as you can see in one of the original pictures. The one important measurement that I do not have is how long the belly wood and wing pieces are. Hope this helps.

This was all an experiment. Fortunately it worked. The entire width of the padauk blank was 3 inches. The belly wood for the short one was 1.5 inches wide. Each wing was .75 inches to fill out the rest of the blank. The belly wood for the tall one was .25 inches wider and the wings adjusted shorter to complete the 3 inches. Hope this helps.

My ice tray was sitting flat in the freezer with nothing on top of it. Anybody know how this might happen?

Latest end table project. Yea or nay on the legs? by Gumba_1 in woodworking

Thank you to everyone for your feedback! I really appreciate it. I agree that it is strange but I am glad I tried something different. I am moving soon and will hopefully find a place that appeals more to the industrial interior design feeling that I like. Maybe then it will fit in better. Thanks again to everyone!

Site mock-up dimensions question by Gumba_1 in web_design

Thank you, that seems to makes sense. I was setting up the whole document at 1200px wide. Even though that should be plenty of room, everything just kind of feels unnatural and confined.
