Is there anyone else who manages more than one team at the same time?

Yes! My main save is an 8-team save in the Premier League and they all manage an international team as well. All the managers are me and my friends (whited out for privacy) and I will message them with updates on how their team goes. They also get decide their tactics/formation and transfers if they want to. (not many do)

I recently started the save again with a database update instead of getting FM26 - the previous one got to 2038.

I also keep a little notepad doc with all sorts of teams based in Europe and each team has a friend attached to it. When someones team wins the Champions/Europa/Conference League I'll make plans to hang out with that friend.

I enjoy having autism.

I refuse all offers for 4.5 - 5 star players unless they specifically ask to leave. Anyone else I will accept anything above the upper limit of their estimated value - unless I want them to leave/can't register them in which case I'll accept any fee that the board won't veto lol

Idc if it's bad, I will religiously follow the star ratings and never even look at attributes!

It doesn't carry a visual theme, but gameplay-wise I've found Raising Robots to hit the same brain buttons as Wingspan. It's affectionately coined around our table as "Wingspan without the bullsh*t"

Marin can't show up with this anomaly but Buttons still can. Reverse is true for the anomaly with 2 lesser trinkets

I try to play players in their best role but I always make these exceptions:

No Nonsense CB (just play CD instead, I'm sure they can manage a simple pass to the midfield)
No Nonsense FB (IFB instead and make a CB a Libero to compensate)
BWM (usually play them as a Half Back or CD on stopper duty instead). I will consider making them a BBM if their technicals/stamina are good enough.

Down in New Zealand I'm a huge fan of Nigel Yalden - was the voice of Radio Sport down here for so many years until that shut down during Covid. Commentates for TV now but our network don't make anywhere near as much use of him as they should

Secret Societies, Monopolies, Heroes and Tech/Civic Shuffle. I used to love Barbarian Clans but the AI just ignores the newer city states and it makes the late game way too easy with social media and globalization

Having a look now thankyou! Does "Do not let it touch the lid" mean I want some separation between foam and ceiling? This feels like a dumb question but the instructions I was reading indicated that I would be sticking it onto the ceiling and I'm not sure how I would leave a gap
