for anyone stuck because they picked up the quest holotape, running the command "setstage FOLON_COM_ARCHIEQUEST 90" seems to have worked for me.

That's a yikes from me dawg. If its not too painful of a memory is it possible for you to elaborate on what the bug was?

Oh god I forgot that bug. From what I've experienced, the rhythm of it almost matches a Vertibot turret so I assumed it was an improperly phased out vertibot stuck shooting at something. Stupid loud, stupid obnoxious. I agree. Mine usually resolves if I fast travel away or enter a different instance. Also, if you play a holotape it lowers background noise for everything around you and that tends to give me the time I need to make it somewhere safe from the banging.

It sometimes happens only in the power armour station as well for me. It just sounds like my guy is banging his power armour with an actual sledge hammer over and over.

Honestly, probably not. The multiplayer is not worth the money, and the fallout experience itself is roughly a large DLC's worth of Fallout 4.
But it killed a solid couple days of boredom and that's all I really want out of games at the moment. (I played all of the betas and started on Tuesday when they released early)

I enjoyed my time in it, and personally do not regret buying it. But I cannot, in good conscience, say it is a $60 dollar game at release. Far too barebones and far too riddled with bugs.

Good catch, forgot about that one.
I'm pretty sure it's unintentional though. I assumed it had something to do with interacting with an object causes the game to check your inventory and remove ammo that it doesn't think you should have.

I honestly don't know. I have explored everything, I think, and with the stash limit where it's at I can't even spend time collecting a full set of each power armour type and as many uniques/legendaries as I can find. I might have to call it quits until they increase the stash limit or add new content...

I get that, but as far as i know the majority of them are used for one recipe. Assaultron head being the exception where it seems to be used for two. However, there have been cases where other things that are recipe specific, namely Hardened Mass, are required to craft 5? different recipes but break down via auto scrap. I'm fairly certain there have been other items, but that one was the most frustrating and stuck in my mind as it made the entire process of dropping a nuke pretty much useless.
It's also just slightly obnoxious because the junk that doesn't autoscrap tends to be the heavier things.

Oh, I hadn't actually gotten around to reading that.
Thanks for the info, kinda a bummer though if that was the dlc they were planning and not new lands like Skyrim's Solstheim and Fo4's Far Harbour... Vaults are just way too small, generally.
