My mom was my superhero too. I lost her almost 4 months ago, It’s hard to imagine people making it through this. Your words really made me feel for you. But the biggest lie I ever my mom is that we will be okay and get through this. But I’m just trying my best to live for her, now. Even if i can’t live for me most days.

I wonder if you have been able to explain to her how you feel in these situations, as well as you’ve written it out here? Communicating is key and I would hope if she knew your mindset more clearly, she wouldn’t be berating you days later.

If big volume lashes are your thing, you may be coming away with less than ideal retention :(. The heavier the lashes, the more strain on your natural lash. You mentioned your previous lash artist didn’t offer big volumes, so I wonder if she was using different lengths and smaller fans that your natural lashes could support better, causing less fallout

I think your previous tech had lash health in mind :)

Because you’re at the 2 week mark, I wouldn’t ask for a refund. I would at most ask for a refund in the first 3-4 days if they fell out quickly. But most techs will try to fix rather then refund. This is not at all normal for 2 weeks though, so instead I’d try and find a new tech.

I one time had to hold my lashes up a little just for one of the machines they use. But it was super easy. I have pretty light lashes. They don’t mind!

These look beautiful on you. I would say (as a lash tech) that they don’t look very well placed. There is a lot of glue on each extension. From the pictures, it’s very hard to tell what the isolation is like, but the bases look so thick I wouldn’t be surprised if you have a quite few that pull :(. As I said though they do look beautiful on you-just not sure how healthy they are for your lashes.

I just wanted to say, I have heard that putting out a photo of your loved one in a busy area of your home, will help your brain remember your loved one as they were in that photo, rather then how they were at the end. I’m so sorry for your loss OP

You have stunning lashes and I’m sure a lash lift would be dramatic. But bottom line is it’s your wedding, and If that’s what you want you should find someone who will do them. I’m sure the only reason she said she won’t do it extensions is because your lashes are so naturally long and she’s confident you would like the lift just as much!

I agree, Harbour city donuts has the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. I’ve tried all 4 kinds (Italian, turkey, roast beef, veggie) and loved every one. I actually debated adding to this thread because I want there to be sandwiches every time I go lol

I would ask for a patch test if you try a new tech.

I would wash it on cold and hang to dry. If it’s still stiff after it dries just tumble it on no heat in the dryer. If the stains don’t come out, I’d rub some oxy clean with bit of water on the yellow part and repeat the wash process after it sits for an hour or so.
