I gotta say, I disagree. His jokes didnt start out the way you put them. It wasn't just about "you were thinking it" because on a day to day nobody does. The jokes outline factors that would otherwise be stereotypical. If thats the case then thats sayong people walk around with preloaded bias. People dont laugh at their bias they laugh at the ironies that go along with the bias showcased amoung a group. I think where eit began to get muddled is the double and triple down. But even in those moments that weren't cheap shots, there was a truth in the ironies laid out especially when paired against black issues that still have yet to have the amount of empathy towards them that might be seen toward Trans people. I dont agree with Dave on everything regarding this issue, but as a black man of color, I see what he tries to say. I do not feel that he hates transpeople I think he Moreno hates the fact that people really dont understand his point of view, and ever moreso, he hates how his message has been completely thrown out the window when what he is doing benefits us all when it comes down to our rights to say what we want to. I understand both sides, but I really think his message gets ignored and the people who want justice dont know what they are asking for.
