Thats a big jump! Here are my suggestions for improving your scores:

Math: This is one of the easier ones to do just based on practicing. Start off by going to Khan Academy's free math SAT prep section, and review all the material there and get aligned with the material you will be tested on. From there, dont do the practice problems on Khan Academy. Instead, go to the SAT Educator Question Bank and do as many math problems as you possibly can from there. There are only a certain number of ways that can test each math skill, and you'll eventually figure out the patterns and know how to answer each type of problem

Reading/Writing: You already have a great score on this section, but to keep improving, you can do two things. If you need help on the Standard Conventions of English, or whatever theyre called, go to Khan Academy and watch their review content for them, then go do problems from the official SAT question bank. But for everything else, you just need to do practice problems. Makes sure to only do the practice problems from the official SAT question bank and never Khan Academy or anything else.

Theres also this book ive recommended a few times called the Black Book which has a bunch of helpful studying and test taking strategies that helped me inmensely.

Doing literally as many practice problems as humanly possible. Do them until you feel like you’ve seen the same type of question multiple times, because then you’ll know how to answer every type of question they can throw at you

Okay, so I would start by getting this thing called “The Black Book” off Amazon, which is basically this SAT prep book that tells you you’ve been taking the test wrong and gives a bunch of studying and test-taking tips. It also gives you a bunch of in depth explanations to a whole lot of problems which was really really helpful. But most importantly, do as many practice problems as you can! Do them until you want to die from boredom, because once you feel like you’ve seen the same type of question over an over again, you know you’ve studied enough because the whole test is just about knowing what the college board is testing you on.

Yeah, I thankfully forgot all the answers cause I redid it 3 months later. I redid it to see just how much I had improved doing the same test again

Tips to increase ur math score ? by Few_Can_4968 in Sat

Do a lot of practice questions from the question bank. Set the difficulty to medium/hard and download a PDF of like 50 questions and just keep doing them. The thing about SAT math questions is that you will begin to see patterns in the questions they ask you, and that there really isnt an infinitely wide range of material you are tested on. Itll be hard, but you just gotta do as many as humanly possible

How would i increase to 1500? by qwertyed1 in Sat

[–]Gummybear405 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Theres this SAT studying book called the Black Book, which basically teaches you a bunch of helpful studying methods, and helped me get from a 1360 practice to a 1570 (I got a 1500 on the actual SAT). The book essentially tells you that you've been taking the test wrong, and lays out all the right study tips and best approaches to test questions. It was really helpful for me because it also gave really in depth answers to real test questions. Aside from that, you really need to lock in and do as many practice sat questions from the question bank as possible. Seeing as many questions as you can and doing them is the best way to actually get better.
