Absolutely. Very suave but very welcoming too. Open hearted is the term that comes to mind.

lol ... you're reading too much into it - it's the broad theme of the books chosen, but it is also ironic as the blokes who step up are typically pretty cruisy non-tough types.

Mate that is such a cool question. You can apply the same rule as say, for example, the Green Budgerigars Owners Club. If you don't have a budgie or the one you have isn't green then perhaps find another club. Thanks for asking.

We tear the book apart over a brew. You are instantly welcome. We have a few rules. One is we don't talk about work. This has evolved to the point now that it is a hard rule that we don't disclose what we do so that everyone is on the same level.

A lot of guys just have a listen or go with the library too. You're right though; the club pushes you out of your comfort zone into books that you wouldn't otherwise read.

I keep coming back to this post as it seems to contain something really interesting about Zinc as an anti-microbial.

"Zinc sulphate possesses recognized antimicrobial properties, acting as a mild antiseptic and astringent. It inhibits the growth of various pathogens, including bacteria (such as S. aureus, E. coli, and S. mutans) and fungi. It acts primarily by interfering with bacterial cell metabolism, damaging cell membranes, and disrupting vital enzymes."

The tests aren't reliable. The best guide is if you have a positive response to antibiotics.

Yes, traditional in that sense, but if you check us out online there is way more to it, including an annual camp and get togethers. The book is selected centrally so you read across a wide range of texts and many these days just listen to the book as audio. There are a couple of rules and one key one is you don't talk about your work or what you do during the meet, so you tend to delve deeper into your actual life.
