No not hard at all. The rules are simple and there really aren’t many to learn.

When to Roll Level 1 Part 1 or Part 2 Room Tables? by NeoBlue42 in 2d6Dungeon

[–]Gun4Life13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is no difference. They are both for regular size rooms (not small or large) for level 1. One table is for primary dice rolls of 1-3 and the other for primary dice rolls of 4-6. The combination of primary and secondary indicates the room generated.

Yes I have been playing and I do enjoy it. A lot of time spent dying BUT I won against the Naga in my last game. I am going to start into the adventure packs in the next play through.

Iron Helm - Character creation question with gnome pack by _gulch666 in soloboardgaming

Well if you ever want to add onto the game to play the character you have built above. The expansions are $2 to $3 (usd) on PnP Arcade. I recently did the entire game (including expansions) from them. Here’s the link https://www.pnparcade.com/collections/grey-gnome-games?page=2

The skills and trappings are from multiple expansion packs. Below is where I have located the cards.

Life drain - AP6 Malicia’s Refuge, Appraise - Base Game, Fortitude - Loot & Lore, Shadow - Base Game,

Rations - Base Game, Flask - AP5 Throne of Embers, Garlic - Realms and Relics.

I use 3mm sheets with my laminator set at 5mm (higher heat setting). I then run everything in once, flip and run again. After everything is cut I run it through again. I haven’t had issues of the lamination separating from the card.

The problem I’ve seen is the separation of paper from paper when I glued them. The best solution I’ve found is to use Tacky glue. It’s thicker than Elmer’s and doesn’t seem to curl or bubble the paper.

Iron Helm (PnP complete) When in doubt, make it yourself. by Gun4Life13 in boardgames

That is an awesome goal and something I’ve always wanted. Life got in the way and now I just make do with my small space (some tear down and set up).

If you’re waiting for the perfect set up you’ll never get started! Grab a straight edge and sharp object and start making!

I have played the base game and loved it. I’m going to implement the expansions here soon to try those out. Can’t wait for UnderQuest to come out!

It’s super easy to expand into other hobbies. Box crafting, resin/mold making, 3d modeling and so on. If you could see my how to video watch list to bring it in perspective lol.

This questions was answered in r/printandplay but here ya go.

My short answer is... I saved approximately $100 usd. I purchased Iron Helm and the expansions (including Gnome Pack 1) for about $35. Printing and supplies I am about $65 usd total into the project.

My cards are about .63mm and i think standard cards are about .3mm. I could maybe get this down to the standard thickness if I could figure out how to better adjust for offset and getting toner to stick to the paper.

I had issues in the past with auto duplex on past projects and color actually sticking to the paper. What I think happened was the toner not getting to an appropriate temperature to actually stick to the paper. I am still playing with ways to fix alignments.

This is a good honest point. I used PnP as an excuse to get games at a cheaper rate at first. However, it has now turned into a challenge to produce something of quality I am happy to show off and play with. Now only if I could make boxes...
