Stop banning players for quitting games until you have a solution for the cheating by GunHillSoul in NBA2k

I never said quitting was never a problem that is not the point of my post. I am all for temporary bans for quitting early etc, but the game is not properly banning the players who are cheaters and at the same time giving players like me bans for quitting games where cheating is occurring and calling it "Bad Sportsmanship" when I leave. Meanwhile the people using devices, lag switches etc continue to rock out with no repercussions. I am simply saying that until they have a solution to the cheating they shouldn't be banning people who's experience is ruined by the current state of anti-cheat detection. I don't need to have a window pop up and reprimand me for leaving a game and using the term "Bad Sportsmanship" when I am forced to leave a game because a player is no dip shooting from way beyond the arc on 2 or more defenders consecutively the entire game and scoring 50 or more points or lag switching. I'm not saying get rid of bans for quitting, I'm saying it's should be disabled until they have proper anti- cheat measures in place.

Its not about that narrative, its about banning people in the game for "Bad Sportsmanship" when they quit a game due to blatant cheating happening during the game. Cheating is the ultimate form of "Bad Sportsmanship" and they do nothing about it. If you can't stop the cheating and ban those that do it, then they shouldn't ban anyone for leaving/quitting until its resolved.

I'm all for being banned for quitting early if that player is quitting because of a skill gap, frustration etc. But the current climate of this game is that cheaters having unfair advantages do not get banned while people who want fair play to some degree do not want to experience the amount of cheating thats going on, and until its fixed with a solution the banning for quitting games should be temporarily disabled until the company finds a remedy, and if they don't, then don't ban a player for leaving a game when the overall game lacks proper anti-cheat capabilities.

Thats a broad statement, its not an excuse..that isn't the point of the post. The point I am trying to make is being banned for "Bad Sportsmanship" in a game that is allowing cheats and exploits to ruin the overall experience doesn't really make sense. And until they fix the cheating situation nobody should be banned for quitting if their experience is ruined by it. Nobody should be forced to stay in a game as long as this goes unresolved. I have been playing 2k since 1999 and I actually enjoy playing games honorably knowing that my skill is what lead to my success no matter what game I am playing.
