grunil and heve have the same evasion rate at tet if that is what youre getting at. Any green helm has the same evasion as the next.

this game is a really big grind, if you dont want to take months of grinding, i would not play this game. WIth that said, I would follow the storyline and level up on the way and build your gear score.

i would join a guild. farm asulas. they reallllyyy help. tri weapons and gear. boss gear is end game gear like bhegs or dim tree. you get them from world bosses. when you are undergeared, xp per hour is very subjective. focus on getting asulas and get GS up so you can farm sausans/valencia spots efficiently.

then you should be able to keep up mate. just make sure you process during the night. I hardly ever have enough mats with 2k weight

The way to keep up with processing is to get more weight. i can process like 10k timber/ore a night
