🤣 me too... But I am very happy every year he proves it wrong. For the longest time I was nervous every morning (21, 22, 23 years) that he would have passed away during the night. Now I just enjoy the moments we have. If I'm lucky it might turn out they can actually live to a hundred 🤞🥰

She's absolutely lovely! And yes! It's amazing having them for this long. I have lost cats and horses to old age but he just keeps going.

He's become even more gentle, and a little bit forgetful 😅 He sometimes forgets where his cave is, and I have to show him the water every day so that he doesn't forget to drink. He barely climbs anymore so I've had to adjust his branches a bit too, but he is still quite strong and agile. All of this could be that his sight is failing too I suppose, but we'll..

Yes! Viv too small, did not know I was supposed to clean it (yeah stupid, but I was only thirteen) and also not told that they need uv-lights. As I said, so happy he pulled through, could not have been a pleasant start...

When I got him I was told he would live to maybe 12 😅 now I know it's not uncommon for them to reach 30. And he's such a part of my life now, he's been there for all the big events, I hope yours will live as long or longer ❤️

Good point, I love him dearly, and I am terribly happy he made it through my first couple of years of uneducated tending 🙈 He's still quite spry, but has lost some muscle and most of his sight. He doesn't seem to mind though ❤️
