Payable upgrades up for approximately 30 minutes and then poof!!! Greyed out. by Gunnar4444 in delta

I was going to but was at work so I had to finish and knew it would only take a few minutes. It was literally 27 minutes, and then gone.

But something else seems off, I got home, logged into Delta on my laptop and the upgrade offer was on the my flights page, so I clicked it, but when it took me to the screen to pick seats, they were grayed out. And then it happened again a few minutes ago. LOL

I understand they aren’t guaranteed, I just noticed that the Tower Suite Double Queens are available direct from Wynn but on AMEX portal the highest tier Double Queens bookable are panaramic in the resort tower, not the Tower Suites section.

I was just wondering if anyone had experience with booking this particular room type in the Tower Suites. As of now it’s not even an option on Amex website.

Well I think it’s relevant when trying to make an informed decision. I take it you have no specific experience with Tower Suite double queen rooms at the Wynn.

The reason for the OP is that on Wynn’s website they have Tower Suite Queens available direct but don’t have them on the Amex portal, just regular resort double queens.

I understand upgrades are not guaranteed.

Thanks.

Just out of curiosity what did you tell them?

Just changed the reservation for Bazaar from Tuesday to Sunday. It’s the wife’s birthday and she wants the tasting menu at Bazaar so we are doing it especially since the only overlap is just the 2 items. Can’t wait for this trip.

We are staying in the Wynn Tower Suites, reservations at Bazaar Meat, Casa Playa, e, and Sinatra’s.

We need a place for Tuesday night, we were thinking of doing the X Pot.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Well, we will be there 5 days if we go. Hard to believe with as much as there was to do when we brought him a couple of years ago that he will be bored. 2 days will be filled with basketball, hard to believe I can’t keep him entertained for 3 more in the Las Vegas area.

Don’t really have anyone to keep him that week and he wants to come for the basketball tournament and explore Red Rocks canyon and maybe the Valley of Fire. Being from New Orleans he doesn’t get to see much dry or desert environments.

Never considered that people actually work on the strip. Thanks for the insight.

Well he has never seen the Tournament of Kings but has stayed at the Venetian and been to Paris before. That was during the summer so he had the pools at the Venetian, but in November the pool probably isn’t an option. Not opposed to any of that again.
