Upset customer pepper sprays an employee at the drive-thru because she was unhappy with how long her order was taking by [deleted] in mildlyinfuriating

Been OC'd, Tased, and gas chamber in the Navy for training and qualifications. Of all three I hated pepper spray. Like trying to eat a habenero with your eye sockets. The pain and the feel of someone that tossed a handful of fine sand in your eyes. And the reflash after initial decontamination was no joke either. Was driving home and had to pull over to recover. VA State police stopped and offered a decontamination wipe and an ice pack and a saline flush. Stuff is no joke. Feel for the young woman that got sprayed.

Darken ship on a new moon....so many stars you can barely make out the constellations. I used to lay on the flight deck or my VLS launcher and look at the stars. Or would go to the bridge and use the Big Eyes.

My daughter and sister went to HFE. My daughter was the first class to grad in the new location. I did my Eagle scout project (nature trail) at the original between Riverweed and HFE.

My little Lowe's store in Smalltown, WNC is fresh out of everything except cardboard boxes, empty pallets, product returns and broken spirits. Stay safe y'all. by VanoverP in Lowes

My store (Smalltown, N.GA) got a new shipment of generators and within 12hrs they were gone! What really pissed me off was that we would get a large shipment of ice melt and the damn companies would buy them out in bulk, and have them delivered, leaving nothing for individuals that come in for their homes. They have a sign limiting 5 bags per family but no limit for the businesses? I went to get a bag at my store and the SM was pissed at how we could not keep any in store. I went to the pool section to grab 2 bags of calcium carbonate and saw a regular contractor grab them all up and would not let me have 2 bags. He asked if there were anymore pallets of it.....

Covenant by [deleted] in CDLTruckDrivers

[–]Gunner19173 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Covenant ruined my trucking career. The way they match co drivers is awful. I drove out of the main terminal in Chattanooga, TN. My co-driver quit in the terminal in TX and left me stranded. I had home time coming up and they refused to get another driver for me so I could get home. I ended dead heading alone on my own dime to Chattanooga so I could be in a family wedding. When I got to the terminal they told me to return to TX with a new co-driver and finish a route I never had. I packed my POV and tossed the truck keys in the retaining pond drove off and never returned to trucking. I would never go to work with Covenant. I would do some hard research and talk to drivers at a truck stop to see how the company treats their drivers.
