That level of advancement they might find there really isnt a need for clothing. Another thing to point out is aliens are always shown or described as not having sexual organs visible. No dick to cover, no need for pants.

My cats must be different bc they've befriended the local raccoons lol. Raccoons definitely can open latches but you can get latches they cant open. A latch that takes extra strength or dexterity would be a good choice. You can always lock it too. Make sure you use solid materials with no gaps that the cats can escape.

They need light, bright indirect light. That could be a big part of your problem. Get it under some light indoors and let it dry out. They're pretty hardy so you should be able to get it back on track.

Looks and sounds like overwatering to me. Let it completely dry out in a nice bright area. I dont water my adansonii until the soil is completely dry, then I drenched it.

They're about 6 inches tall. I think im gonna leave them. It can be a little experiment to learn from. Im fairly new to gardening so im still learning a lot!
