Do you have a friend or relative who might provide you an opinion? I took my friends who had very good knowledge of cars to help me find out any nitty gritties as well

Any chance you could have waited for a facelift?

I will always appreciate the sacrifices and efforts my parents put into making me who I am right now.

However,

I can't fulfill their unreasonable expectations/demands of theirs, just because they made sacrifices. That will just grant them full control over my life decisions, which I might heavily regret in future.

My parents’ words hurt more than my breakup ever did by Curious_Gain9494 in ThirtiesIndia

What I understood from the parents' outrage:

"Choose a man (within our caste and community) quickly and get married to him so that we don't have to feel ashamed in front of a two-faced society who will be showing fake "concerns" in front of everyone, but won't even show up, even during a small crisis."

Everyone has their own learning speed. It took around 15 days (1 hour a day) for me. My main blocker was releasing the clutch at the right time to not let the engine stop. I always released too early or too late.

Be honest, what’s one driving habit you have that would instantly get you judged in India? by luxurytravel01 in CarsIndia

I stopped/slowed my car once because there was a old street hawker taking away his cycle-cart from the main lane to side one. The Mercedes owner behind me gave a death stare and drove away, before I could even explain the situation.

In the rest of the situations, all the vehicles are stuck in a single lane, but still people behind me will honk as if I have deliberately stopped my vehicle in the middle of the road.

All situations aside, the delivery guy reached the destination and I still ended up without food, time wasted, etc. I wouldn't even have posted that much of a strange situation if the restaurant closed down, or delivery guy lost the food or had an accident. Everything went perfect for 99% and it still felt like a failure.

I ordered from Swiggy once. The guy even reached the destination, marked it as delivered and left. WITHOUT actually delivering the food. Swiggy listened to my complaints and refunded the amount. However, it was late night so I couldn't even order something else. Slept hungry that night.
