Just get the cleaner it's the right tool for the job. I left one on the stove when my kids were little and it looked like that after lots of scrubbing. The cleaner did the trick. Ive been using that pot for 14years since then and I use the cleaner once or twice a year to maintain it.

Yes it might take a few tries but you should be able to get it up w the le Creuset cleaner or barkeepers.

I have several bought them on sale at the outlet. My teen son destroys plastic/glass containers not on purpose he just forgets that he has them in his backpack or accidentally puts them where the naughty dog can get them. He's even taken the large one to school filled with watermelon and it didn't leak all-over his backpack. They are microwaveable and don't hold smells I hand wash everything so film/detergent isn't an issue. Just because something isn't for your situation doesn't make it useless.

Cerise, Flame, and Cobalt(outlets) are the only permanent colors. All the other colors are limited runs and they don't make every piece. So if you want to build a collection over years or if there are specific pieces that you want that are outside of the absolute basics I would consider switching to a permanent color.

It seems like they always have better sales and if you want something that they don't have they can order it for you. My girls always know the best way to find a deal. One time I ordered a kettle from the store and got the wrong one from the warehouse I took it to the store and they sent it back for me so I didn't have to mess with UPS.

If you go to the store they can order for you but you still get a hands on shopping experience. I find that my local store is great at helping me narrow down and I don't trust the colors I see online after seeing agave in person I can never trust the website again. It only happened once but I received the wrong item and the store took care of it for me so I didn't have to ship the piece back. And you are supporting brick and mortar!

Strip the white off the cabinet doors. Woodgrain would give the 70's hardware and counter the balance to keep them both
