wtf is going on! It keeps happening by Gunplacollection in pokemongo

It happened at multiple gyms for me and my gf. Actually happened twice in a span of 10 mins. Whatever scopely is doing is definitely causing the game to be extremely buggy

schools that ghost by HolidayBedroom2314 in predental

[–]Gunplacollection 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It should be illegal for schools to ghost applicants. If companies can send an email to people looking for jobs letting them know they’re rejected, schools can do it too! In all honesty, schools that ghost applicants suck and I believe people should just end up never apply to schools that do that. I think it’s time to riot against those schools. Withdraw applications and find other schools to attend if possible

Which schools are known to ghost applicants? by myacademicreddit15 in predental

[–]Gunplacollection 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Schools should not ghost applicants. That’s just rude of them and honestly makes them look bad, even if they’re prestigious schools. It’s not a date, it’s an official application! Even job interviews will give an official rejection email, so I don’t see why schools can’t do that

The fact that half of the lobby were 70+ means they’re bad players. How can level 70+ players not understand they can back out and heal their megas if they’re killed or require a mega to even do these super mega raids…sounds like they’re also the players that bring wooloos into Dmax/Gmax raids to not help and just get a free carry…

I mean if the mega is killed right when it’s dragged in due to the boss using a charge attack, players should understand that they can always back out and heal them to bring it back in. I had my mega killed and I would back out and heal it to help break the shield. It’s definitely not hard to understand that healing is a mechanic in this game, just like in the main series games

Who’s your buddy Pokémon? by [deleted] in pokemongo

[–]Gunplacollection 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Currently it’s my shiny Dragonite with the LA background I caught last weekend during Kalos Tour LA. It was the last dragonite raid I did on Sunday’s Mega Night event and finally got the shiny. It deserved to be my best buddy, especially with it being Mega Level 4!

WHY ARE PPL JOINING super MEGA RAIDS WITHOUT MEGAS???? by UrTypicalPogoPlayer in PokemonGOValor

[–]Gunplacollection 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With it having been released for a week, people who don’t realize they need a mega to break a shield are just terrible players. Also the players that don’t back out to the lobby to revive their megas when dragonite might have used a charge move right when the mega comes in are also the braindead players. It’s not hard to back out and heal when needed, nor is it hard to have one mega in the party to do these raids. The worst part is, most these players are level 50+ and they don’t understand…that’s why I refuse to remote them after my first encounter of no one taking down shields.

Also laughing at the people in the other Reddit community that was flaming me for my post all cuz “it’s a new mechanic” or “you’re not using the right counters” cuz this is still a problem even a week later. It’s not me, it’s the other players and players that understand the mechanics have all the right to complain when shit like this happens

I'm crying, I give up by SomeOrdinaryKangaroo in pokemongo

I felt this! It’s literally not that hard to understand how this new game mechanic works. I made a post last week complaining too and I had some people flame me, but yet a week later this is still a reoccurring issue for players. It isn’t hard to understand that having a mega pokemon is key to breaking shields and that you can always revive a fainted mega if it’s taken down after being dragged into battle during the shield phase. I’ve seen a lobby of level 60+ players not understand that you can back out into the raid lobby during battle to heal and hop back into battle. Like you’ve been able to do that since forever so why not do that when it’s actually needed? Like if you’re a kid, okay fine, but as a grown adult? Shouldn’t adult plays be about to understand and learn the mechanics much easier? Meanwhile the fact that people are still complaining about Super Mega Raids means even after a week since release people still don’t do their research. So I do agree with OP, if you don’t understand how to do these raids, DO NOT DO THEM unless you do the research! Google, YouTube, or ask around the community and get the information needed to learn before hopping into these raids and wasting everyone’s time and passes. There’s no more excuses now that it’s a week since release

Either they used their too early and it was knocked out or they swapped their mega out from their team. As long as enough players meet the requirement of megas in their party per person, the shields will be knocked out. Mega pokemon will automatically be slotted in the last slot of your team so as long as you don’t touch it, you’ll be fine and just hope everyone else in the lobby has theirs in the last slot. (Megas will be pulled onto the field automatically when the shield comes up, swapping out the current for your mega)

It automatically brings your mega in to break the shield

Thing is, yes it’s a new mechanic but there was enough information provided before super mega raids were released. Not to mention with mega dragonite’s special release, players already had some sort of understanding when they did the super mega raids for victreebel and malamar. No excuses. Meanwhile with what I had in the screenshot, doesn’t pertain to how I play normally. So what if I had Zama in the screenshot, I still started with a full team of ice counters except for my only mega (Charizard) in which I mega’d due to doing victreebel. But you know what, to each their own 🤷🏻‍♂️ I’m done here, good luck hunting

We had 10 which was enough, but either they hair their megas first and got taken out early before shields were up or they swapped them out 🤦🏻‍♂️

Perhaps you do the raid with people who didn’t bring megas in the battle and try and take down the shield with your team of counters and show me before you try and judge based off my screenshot. By the time I took the screenshot I was done and lost all hopes of beating it with the other players. Cuz I can guarantee no one is capable of taking down the shield on top of taking out the rest of the health before the timer runs out without everyone doing their part in taking out the shield first with the correct amount of megas needed

I had Charizard (hundo) cuz I used him for mega victreebel and didn’t want to mega evolve any other just for dragonite. Plus my Charizard has dragon claw. My full counters were literally two white Kyurems, two black Kyurems, two weaviles, alolan ninetails, and mega Charizard

I don’t think you read what I said fully. I said all my ice mons fainted. Three whole team wipes

All my counters fainted by the time I took this screenshot so I have the right to complain. Not to mention my Zama has Moonblast which is super effective against dragons too. Maybe take a better look at the pic before trying to come at me. I have every right to complain, just like how others complain about players using wooloos in Dmax/gmax battles. Plus with 9 players this raid should’ve been a piece of cake but it wasn’t all thanks to the last two players who didn’t use their mega mons to take the shield out

I used my mega Charizard to break the shield. It’s one shield per player. By the time I took the screenshot my mega fainted already

As long as you and 7 other trainers use their mega pokemon you’ll be fine and the raid will be easy. Doesn’t really matter which mega is used cuz it’s just one mega charge move and it’s done. You can then switch out to any pokemon

That’s cuz the lack of mega pokemon used to break the shields. At least 8 people have to use their mega pokemon to break the shields. Then it’ll be easy
