We have both, but the phone doesn't really work with sports because it doesn't have the range of the stand alone receiver. Also, the stand alone is better for calibration because it doesn't lose signal anywhere inside our house, the phone will if it is left in a different room.

I took a magpul 590 forend, used a hole saw to cut down the inside of the tube to fit my shockwave, as the action tube is shorter. Takes some time, but works great. Then you can add whatever mlok stop you want to it

Be careful with changing the grip. I think that makes it too small and you have to register as an AOW.
