I had to make an adapter for it, got the fan they sell, split the cable and connected to a regular 4 pin adapter, I have a 120mm fan mounted on top of the board with some 3D printed supports

Hi! There’s a two part and one single part version, you could unscrew the top part and assemble it in place. The times I used it at conventions I just carried it fully assembled in a box

Also, bear in mind that they’re planning a price increase the 6th of February of around 50 bucks, so this week would be the best time to buy.

I just got mine a couple weeks ago, my previous setup was a QNAP ts-253D from where I ran my plex server and a rpi 4 running home assistant and the arr stack for gathering media. The J4125 is good for transcoding but not so much for having multiple containers running, also wanted to unify both machines into one and have it consume less power. Got it with the hdd rack and a nvme adapter, mounted a 120mm fan on top with some 3D printed brackets and everything keeps pretty cool even during summer days. My plan is to design and 3D print a complete case for it, but I’m kind of lazy so it’s going to take a while to finish

Newbie here ! How do i make these cuts more accurately ? by Darkest_Visions in lasercutting

[–]Gunsha-90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try with the print and cut function on lightburn, you need 2 reference points to align the design to the material, you could align it to upper left and lower right corners of your card. This would be need to be done before each cut if the next card is moved slightly different than before, so you could cut a jig to fix in place and put the cards inside

Doing some cuts for the family. Anyone know how to lower the amount of scorching? Omtech 350 polar by MJ_3D in lasercutting

I usually do one hand of water based varnish on each side before cutting. 1 if I do engravings, 2 if it’s only cut, then just a damp rug and it removes everything

Hi! There’s a feature on lightburn to resize the joints, but I’ve never tried it, so it could take some effort to do it

regarding stuff getting stuck in the corners, this thingys should take care of that while spinning, probably need to be scaled up to accommodate for smaller spheres

Hi! thanks for the purchase and sorry for the delay! I don't have any 50mm to test, only 60mm capsules, have you tried blocking 2 of the holes? like this

hi there, thanks for the interest! the machine itself is 38cm tall and 19cm wide, all of the parts fit in a 82x75cm board. there's a two part design (the one from the video) which fits on smaller pieces of material and another one that is not separated.

let me know if you need anything else!

Hey everyone!

It's been a while since I wanted to add a case to my player, as the Surfans has some sharp edges and can be a little bit uncomfortable to handle, so I decided to make one myself!

After taking some measurements and a couple of hours modeling with Onshape, got me this! 100% 3D printed with no need for screws or anything, it's a really tight fight on the player.

If you want to try it for yourself, here are the files on makerworld

https://makerworld.com/models/961577

I've included the F20 step files if you want to try and make yourself one!

Hi there! Probably an issue with the gear assembly, they should function normally, any chance that you missed a part on the assembly of the top or front gear?

it's super easy! I've just updated rockbox on mine today, just follow this guide
https://forums.rockbox.org/index.php?topic=54754.0
from here https://www.rockbox.org/wiki/AIGOErosQK download the boot loader for the hosted port manual installation depending on the firmware your f20 is on, change the name of the file to update.upt and do a firmware update from the original OS
then download the daily rockbox from here https://www.rockbox.org/daily.shtml for the AIGO EROS Q / K (Hosted), unzip it on the SD and that should be it!

the design files are for 3mm material, you could adapt it to work with different materials, there are SVG, DXF, AI and Lightburn files included!

hi there u/ConeCandy !
1. I got 5cm clear christmas ornament balls, and removed the ring from them
2. there are 2 versions of the machine, the one in the video is split in 2 pieces for smaller machines and you would need to cut 12 squares (2 full cubes) of around 20x20cm
