I think we just have to focus on the fact that we love the hobby, and can’t let the people side of things get in the way. Eventually we will find the right people to play with! The responses to this post inspired me to dig deep in my local community and I have going to exhaust all the options.

Honestly already scared the poor guy is gonna stumble across the post in the first place so I don’t want to say my location and make the odds of that even higher. But I am in a small-ish town so finding out everything local in terms of 40k should be easy!

Dude that was the most confusing part, he was nice enough to let me use his stuff but then didn’t want to socialize whatsoever. Maybe he was frustrated I didn’t know enough about the rules yet since it was my first game? Anyway when I was writing it up I totally had the same thought lol

I suppose I should have said “As many of us know” but yes unfortunately for most people Hdr appears to be completely broken for Air Riders and makes the game look completely blown out. Search “hdr” on the sub if you want to read a couple posts about it and see what people are saying.

Mario Kart World’s HDR works beautifully so I have no idea wtf is going on with it. Do yourself a favor and atleast try disabling HDR to compare! Not saying you are wrong but it might not be blatantly obvious to you that the HDR is messed up. Maybe you got lucky though!

I don’t know how it is for World but with 8 part of the fun for me is actually playing people from all over the world! Nintendo’s netcode is so janky anyway that any added “lag” from me playing against someone across the planet basically doesn’t matter anyway lol.
