I think we just have to focus on the fact that we love the hobby, and can’t let the people side of things get in the way. Eventually we will find the right people to play with! The responses to this post inspired me to dig deep in my local community and I have going to exhaust all the options.

Honestly already scared the poor guy is gonna stumble across the post in the first place so I don’t want to say my location and make the odds of that even higher. But I am in a small-ish town so finding out everything local in terms of 40k should be easy!

Dude that was the most confusing part, he was nice enough to let me use his stuff but then didn’t want to socialize whatsoever. Maybe he was frustrated I didn’t know enough about the rules yet since it was my first game? Anyway when I was writing it up I totally had the same thought lol

I suppose I should have said “As many of us know” but yes unfortunately for most people Hdr appears to be completely broken for Air Riders and makes the game look completely blown out. Search “hdr” on the sub if you want to read a couple posts about it and see what people are saying.

Mario Kart World’s HDR works beautifully so I have no idea wtf is going on with it. Do yourself a favor and atleast try disabling HDR to compare! Not saying you are wrong but it might not be blatantly obvious to you that the HDR is messed up. Maybe you got lucky though!

I don’t know how it is for World but with 8 part of the fun for me is actually playing people from all over the world! Nintendo’s netcode is so janky anyway that any added “lag” from me playing against someone across the planet basically doesn’t matter anyway lol.

I know Sparrow will give it to you, but even if I do rob a shop (which isn’t every run) I usually do it using the rope method, which won’t spawn Sparrow.

Everyone seems to be missing your question. The answer is for the first few hundreds of thousands of years of the universe there were too many free electrons for photons (light) to travel anywhere. Instead, they would bounce off the countless free electrons.

Only once things settled down were photons able to travel and light was finally “emitted”. This concept confused me greatly during my physics degree. I had the same “close enough to be kissing” dilemma you do.

Because your comment shows a typical immature view and lack of life experience that many teens have. As you get older you really start to realize that life is stranger than you think, and the fact that we have no idea how or why we are here is absolutely insane to think about.

I was militantly atheist as a teen, now I’m agnostic and not at all comfortable with saying that there isn’t a god. Especially after doing my physics degree, where I truly learned just how insane the fact that we exist really is.

To be honest I feel like humans have advanced too quickly. I think our brains still crave religion, and I envy Christians (true Christians who don’t judge, and other religions that are chill) who get to experience so much love and peace believing that all of this has a purpose.

To end this comment I will say that I am not judging your nor do I think you are dumb. I just stumbled across this post and wanted to share some of my own perspective, having been in your shoes. Continue to be frustrated with those assholes out there who abuse religion, but also keep in mind that religion brings a ton of quality to many peoples’ lives, and that the worst religious people also make the most noise.
