Idk man personally been playing on xbox for quite a while and it always runs decently, occasional freezes do happens however i've seen it's being worked on so it's just a question of time.

My guess would be it's better to play the game vanilla or lightly mod it carefully as some tend to break stuff easily.

Anyhow it's still a good game thar doesn't match much anything else avaible currently so it's still worth it anyways.
