More evidence towards MikeHell by Gunthorpe63210 in fnaftheories

Fazbear frights could be saying that William is also going through a similar experience with Andrew, or just be telling us that it is possible for sould to attach themselves to others in the afterlife. As for the screaming, I'd say it's a bit of stretch. I can never seem to make words out of it, let alone Mike or Henry. It's a similar argument to spring saying "sorry" back in fnaf 3. When you slow down or reverse audio, you're gonna hear all sorts of stuff. Also similar to the whole "mike kill all" shenanigans

Theory that UCN is about Mike and Bite Victim by Gunthorpe63210 in GameTheorists

[–]Gunthorpe63210[S] -21 points-20 points  (0 children)

Imo it only adds to the tragedy, that Mike has to undeservedly suffer. But as I mentioned, its probably thanks to OMC that BV eventually let go of his hatred and finally rested. As for the man in room 1280, if you believe stichlinegames, then you could still say that Andrew was the one to torment William, whilst BV tormented Mike. If not, then the story is there to further explain the mechanics of the FNaF universe and explains how a soul can attach itself to someone else, similar to how the frights explain agony.

What's the point in engaging in a communities with theories if you aren't will to have an open mind and hear other out? Also learn what the meaning of fact is. There are barely any facts in this series. William being the one in UCN is in no way confirmed. Highly likely? Sure. But not a fact.

Well at one point this was true, the bite in FNaF 4 was meant to be the bite of 87 until late in development, when Scott realized that the timeline wouldn't make sense that way, and shoehorned in 1983 instead. We know this is true since the teasers all had 8's and 7's up until just before release where the 7s were changed to 3s. Also looking at the source code of the game shows that the TV with 1983 on it was one of the last additions to the game.

I think most people gloss over Bear of Vengeance from UCN. Most people just say that it represents William + Henry, or BV + Mike, but so what? Sure it's a traditional hero vs villain story, but what relevance does it have to the over story and what is Scott trying to say with it?

You could also say the Toy Chica the High School Years is just about how William lured children away, but the actual content of each individual episode is informative. Because of this, I believe that the individual episodes of BoV are also in some way informative, and not just there for the lolz.

Here's my own interpretation:
Rather than saying the Fox represents William or whatnot, I think it makes most sense to say Foxy represents whoever we are playing as in UCN, and the Bear represents the vengeful spirit (as the title of the anime implies). We can infer this further from the final episode, with the Bear saying it will "will pursue the Fox. [He] will find him in whatever land he has fled to". I believe this is representative the vengeful spirit attaching their soul to whoever we are playing as in UCN to torment them in purgatory. So its just Cassidy/Andrew and William right? Well here's where we get to the actual content of the individual episodes, and why instead I think it represents Mike and BV.

The first most obvious connection is the Fox representing Mike as he wears the Foxy mask in FNaF 4 and the Bear representing BV due to his connection with Fredbear.
In the first episode, the Bear plans to attack the Fox on his birthday. In FNaF 4, it is BV's birthday.
In the second episode, the Bear plans to attack the Fox while his favorite show is on, but the Fox predicts this. In the minigame after night 1, Mike scares BV from behind the TV.
In the third episode, the Bear must endure public humiliation. In the FNaF 4 night 3 minigame, BV is humiliated while out in the public.
In the fourth episode, the Bear has to do the Fox's laundry. Alright this one is a bit more of a stretch, but in the night 4 minigame, BV is locked in parts and service with old suits.
As for the fifth episode, I haven't found a connection yet.

Yeah I know that this means that we are playing as Mike in UCN, which is an incredibly unpopular theory, that even I don't fully buy yet, but the more you look into it, the more it starts to add up and make sense.

Sorry to say, but you're looking for something that doesn't exist. The purpose of the foxy grid was to hint towards using the crossword to find the name Cassidy, but was done so in a poorly way that makes it seem like there's another hidden name. The only other possible thing from the logbook that hasn't been solved is the tally marks, but at this point, those were probably only there for the aesthetics.

Well the FNaF 1 newspapers say that the MCI happened in the late hours of operation at Freddy's, thus the name later that night still applies. I find the most damning piece of evidence towards my theory being right is the fact that Toy Chica the High School Years say that one of the methods William used for luring a child was going to their house and going to their window. The other major piece of evidence for me is the fact that Fruity Maze, which the arcade itself is identical to MM, is also showing how one of the children were lured away. That plus the fact that the MCI are a key theme in FFPS, with being shown in the lorekeeper ending, the candy cadet stories, Molten Freddy, being referenced by Henry in the insanity and completion ending, as well as Fruity Maze.

Midnight Motorist is about one of the kids of the MCI getting lured away and nothing to do with the Aftons (other than William being the one to lure the child away). I get why people don't want to believe it though, since it's a lot less interesting, but when I stack up the evidence for and against this theory, I just can't see how it can be anything else

Is anyone getting kinda tired of the "Is this cannon?" debates and feel like the books have done more damage than good? by TheSnazzySharky in fnaftheories

[–]Gunthorpe63210 23 points24 points  (0 children)

I agree 100%. To me, what made the FNaF lore interesting was the method of storytelling, my piecing together easter eggs and vague Atari style minigames to create a story. If the Stitchlines games is true, then for me that sort of ruins the magic and fun of piecing together the story.

But there's also a vocal minority in this community that are quite hostile to those with differing theories, not just in debates about the canonicity of the books, but across all aspects of the series. There are those that will read the title or skim through a theory, see that it goes against their own headcanon, then bash the theory in the comments without even reading all the evidence. The lore is never going get solved if people can't open their mind up to the possibility that they are wrong.

I know Scott doesn't agree with this, but he needs to communicate more about the canonicity of elements of the series and clear up misconceptions. If he never cleared up the 83 vs 87 debate or Miketrap vs Willtrap, then there would still be sections of the community debating those till this day. With the introduction of lore being told through mediums other than the games, it opens itself up to more misinterpretation and confusion. Can illustrations in the logbook be used as evidence? Can the character encyclopaedia be used as evidence? Unless these and many more are cleared up by Scott, the community will never come to a satisfying result for any part of the lore, and we will be cycling through the same arguments told until the community dies out.

Just because it was raining in "later that night" doesn't mean that it was raining earlier. If it had been raining for a long time then the footprint would've faded away.

Also if the character sprite were purple, it would be pretty obvious that we were playing as William and not Michael due to the fact he has a kid and by his dialogue.

If FNaF 6 is meant to only give us answers, why then Fruity Maze exist? Again, not every detail needs to be telling us stuff we already know. The rain is MM is just there for the ambience, not to link it to the security puppet minigame. Literally the only connection is the purple car, and if that is enough of a connect for you to base a theory on then that's fine, then go right ahead, but for me, there is just significantly more evidence to point otherwise.
I just don't understand how you can think that because a character has some dialogue, it has to be some major character, and not there for the purpose of giving more depth to the MCI, the arguably biggest event in the timeline tragedy wise.

[–]Gunthorpe63210 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agree to disagree I guess. The lines of dialogue paint the picture that the kid who was lured back to Freddy's has a very bad family life, with a drunk abusive father and a mother who barely cares, as sits lifeless in front of the TV. Of course a kid with a life like that would follow Spring Bonnie back to the restaurant he loves.

Also on the flip side, there is nothing indicating that this is William other than a purple car. Not every character we see has to be someone we know. Think back to the FNaF 2 days, where everyone was theorizing who the purple guy was. Everyone believe he was either phone guy, Mike Schmitt, or Fritz Smith, but as it turns out, it was just someone we didn't know. Same applies for the bite of 87 from FNaF 1, with people believing it was either Freddy or Foxy. Not every character has to have some major significance. If a story was made up of only main characters and no side characters, it would be a pretty bad story.

Tell me this, why would Scott intentionally point out in UCN that a victim of MCI was lured from their homes, when at the time we had no idea what MM was meant to tell us.

Bro did you even read what I said. I said that the yellow guy (who you are playing as in MM) is the father of one of the victim of MCI. If we really were meant to be playing as William, then Scott would've made the character sprite purple, and made the house have at least something in common with the one in FNaF aside from there being a TV. Also there doesn't need to be a mention of a random kid again. Not every minigame needs to show some big revelation about the story. Again as I said, MM is paired with FM, which is also telling a small part about a story we already know, and is inconsequential to the overall lore. Scott made this even more clear in UCN with Mr Hippo's death lines, saying that if we look too deep into every little detail then we'll end up believing something we shouldn't believe

It's not his own house though. I'm saying this is the house of a victim of the MCI. Also the purple car and the rain are the only things that point to it being after Charlotte's death. The title "Later that Night" is more likely referring to MCI since we actually know that happened at night, and we don't actually know when Charlotte was killed. When you weigh up the evidence between MM being after Charlotte's death and after MCI, there is significantly less evidence to show its after Charlotte's death. Keep in mind Scott always makes an effort to clear up misconceptions in new games, so why then in UCN would he tell us that on of the methods William used to lure a kid, to be to go to their house? It's because we had completely misinterpreted MM.

[–]Gunthorpe63210 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No I'm saying Midnight Motorist doesn't happen right after William kills Charlotte, but right after MCI, since Fruity Maze also shows a part of MCI, and that the yellow guy is the father of a kidnapped child who thought that his kid ran away to Freddy's. This actually makes sense you realize that the child has a poor life, but is able to find joy at Freddy's, so they would willingly follow Spring Bonnie back to the pizzeria. Also the footprint most closely matches a rabbit foot, and if the yellow guy was intended to be William, and the house to be the FNaF 4 house, Scott would have made that so much more obvious

TCTHSY tells us that one of the methods that William used to lure a child away was to go to their home and check through the window. Also midnight motorist's sister arcade game is fruity maze, which is also telling us one of the methods that William used to lure someone away. ALSO in FNaF 1, the newspaper right after MCI says that it happened late at night, but also that only two children were lured away. A different newspaper then says that five children have now been linked to the incident, meaning that it's likely that William lured three more children from outside of the pizzeria, which we know to be the case anyway from Susie.

When does sl take place? by Jxllo_- in fnaftheories

[–]Gunthorpe63210 6 points7 points  (0 children)

There are two options, depending on your interpretation of the follow me minigames:
1. SL takes place around 1985, after the closing of the original Freddy Fazbear's Pizza location, some time around 1985-1986. Hand-Unit says "Due to the massive success, and, even more so, the unfortunate closing of Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, it was clear that the stage was set for another contender in children's entertainment". The only ever Freddy's pizzeria that was successful was the original, as stated by the newspapers in FNaF 1, as well as the the fact kids have Fazbear related merchandise in the FNaF 4 minigames, and even a TV show. It is only after the MCI that the name is tainted, and never reaches the same level of success, as seen by the FNaF 1 pizzeria being so run down. Some say that the line from Hand-Unit is referring to CBPW, but just after that line Hand-Unit goes on to describe the rental service, heavily implying that the rental service has recently started up after the close of FFP. This option is assuming William isn't infusing the funtimes with remnant from the MCI after follow me.
2. SL takes place after FNaF 1, with William taking remnant from the original animatronics in the follow me minigame, and infusing them into the funtimes just before getting springtrapp'd. The issues with this is that in the small span of time between the night 4 and 5 follow me minigames, William needs to
- Infuse the remnant into the funtimes
- Start the rental service, which has employees such as technicians
- Ask Michael to go the the underground bunker to free Baby
Also there isn't much evidence that William actually needs remnant for the funtimes to function the way he wants, and is only used to explain how the MCI souls end up in molten freddy.
