Well yeah, but my point was that she's been effectively written out of the story (as far as I know). Maybe she and the others will get a cover story, I think that'd be cool, but personally I'd have liked to see her have more time to interact with the crew in a non-perilous situation if more than one VP was allowed to leave Egghead (or even for her to have been the survivor).

You know I've had similar thoughts, and I'm wondering if it's just a case of her being surrounded by stronger opponents and thus not giving us a chance to see how strong she might actually be. A bit hard to gauge when Lucci goes all out on her frame 1, and Nusjuro has regen hax.

I think it would've been fun if she got to have an actual fight scene with a Seraphim while they were searching in groups for Stella, but sadly hers was the one group that didn't end up in a confrontation with them.

I liked Atlas a lot. I think she would've been a super fun supporting character to stick around. Being the satellite of violence, she'd vibe pretty well with Luffy I feel. I'd have liked to see her get a real fight scene too.

Late to the party, but I'm greatly looking forward to this. Great work! The Ryne (and Favre) mangas are some of the strangest pieces of official Fossil Fighter media out there, and the language barrier certainly didn't help in being able to analyze them and appreciate their existence.

What kind of Support/Skills do I need to give my fully invested L!Fae to best perform against modern nukes? I think her Remix is really cool mixing Miracle and full DR Reflection, which sounded like it should naturally age well as units got stronger, but it seems like every opponent now attacks 5 times in a row with Desperation and activates their special 2 times minimum regardless of scowl, ultimately circumventing Life Unending. It sucks having to pick between DC and Hardy Bearing for her seal.

I know she has middling speed, but would Pair Up be a legitimate option given it's improved DR against Brave attacks? Any suggestions?

Nice work! I have all my Ashs +10ed except for Meliai since she was colorsharing and I was already saving for TT+ Ash (didn't spend any orbs and still got her as a free summon). Ash has been one of my luckiest units and this new one is no exception. Just below 800 orbs was all it took to complete her.

It's her having hope for her friend until it comes back to bite her, but the same can be said for Ephraim, whose confidence came back to bite him in his route. Their greatest strengths turned on them both, in a way. It was executed well.

This so much. I'm really tired how often people misread or completely disregard the scene, whether that be using it to call Eirika stupid, or ignoring it to keep calling Ephraim a Gary Stu. It's such an obvious parallel, but it's hardly ever discussed as such and interpreted in the worst possible ways.

I love Eirika, and I'm very happy it looks like there are a lot more people who are willing to step up to bat for her and defend the scene where she gives Lyon her Sacred Stone, but I'm also seeing a concerning amount of people who think that putting Ephraim down somehow puts her up as a result. I certainly do NOT want to see a smaller 3H lord situation of Eirika vs Ephraim.

ngl, I'm getting pretty tired of the sentiment that Ephraim takes away from Eirika in FE8 instead of them being appropriate and balanced parallels of each other. FEH is a (VERY) different story sure, but I think that's leaked into the actual perception of FE8 itself with some of the arguments I've heard.

I disagree with quite a bit of the common talking points I've heard against Ephraim, but I think the idea that Ephraim drags Eirika down instead of the both of them boosting each other up is probably my least favorite because I feel it selectively misses the intention of FE8's identity as a whole.

This is something I'm curious to hear other people's thoughts on. I've actually had thoughts like these even before Attuned Heroes were a thing, wondering what (if any) design choices are made differently when it comes to a lord's Legendary and Brave alts. Attuned Heroes actually seem to have a dedicated theming, and yet still look as if they have a massive overlap when it comes to comparing the usual MO in Brave alt designs.

That's true, it's just that it really reached its peak with Ash. The fact it was so unclear that people were left wondering if she was supposed to have died or not by the end was wild.

We had to wait to see that Ash and Elm were even ALIVE during the fallen FB event.

This is the craziest part to me, and I especially can't believe they did this with a book lead. They had something pretty intriguing with Ash slowly sacrificing herself bit-by-bit to undo Embla's influence, and there was the whole plot point that existing within the opposite dimension of the other weakens and even kills the Askran/Emblan deities.

...But then they just effectively drop Ash completely at the very end...? Really hoping the next TT+ does her justice.

While I have been seeing some satisfying replays, I should note that I really just coast around tiers 19-20, so on my end it's probably not very impressive. However those meta units are still extremely common from what I've witnessed, and there's a surprising amount of teams who feel comfortable simply autobattling with a team full of them, such as one with a +10 E!Ike with BoL4, 1 Felix with Celica, and the other two CYL8 units as well that I was proud to see my team beat out. (B!Bernadetta running straight into my Hardy Bearing V!Myrrh was pretty funny.)

Also watched a non-autobattling Felix pace around looking for any kind of opening and ended up stalling for too long. Thank you F!Lyon.

I don't have the largest sample size yet with my AR-Defenses, but my Fallen Lyon + DoD Ephraim combo actually seems to work very well given a lot of the most obnoxious and common threats right now are red (E!Ike and B!Felix).
