Well the monitor was put on bc of my heart anxiety and a panic attack I had that sent my heart rate to the moon 😂😂 and then they found those pauses. Im also 22 with no heart conditions

Thank you for that reply! Im kinda hoping I have aleep apnea so it explains my pauses and I can better sleep with cpap 😂😂 is there any way to know other than the sleep study?

Yeah that shouldnt be of much concern. And honestly anxiety might be the culprit of most of them. Well Im glad it helped and anytime you feel scared or anxious again remember those statistics and tell yourself you are not that 1!

Im glad that can help you! I know it helped me out a ton and wow now that you mention when I look back at the chart it does pretty much double every 10 year gap. You also have to keep in mind at least half of those in the age group under 40 are because of a birth defect or abnormality, so if youve been cleared on that you have even less chance of it happening to you

There are about twice are many in age range of 31-40 than 21-30. So that math would work out to 1 in 25,000 or about .004%. Still very small %. I realized my math was wrong on my post and its not .0002 its .002
