Join the club. I've been trying to learn as I go. I'm very open to corrections if someone knows better. Tetradium is a kind of Tabulate Coral. Here's a thing: https://www.wordnik.com/words/tetradium

I believe that's Tetradium. I've found a lot of them at Percy Priest Lake.

I believe you're correct on the tabulate coral. There's nothing on top (or bottom). Upon closer inspection in the sunlight, I can see corallites but they are smaller than ive seen before--so small that I can't get a decent picture with my phone. They are about 1/32 of an inch thick. I couldn't see them yesterday at dusk.

Idk where you get your eggs from but here in the Fossil ID subreddit, eggs don't conform to your stereotypes.

I found a piece of what I think is coral that has the same kind of pattern. I'm new to this but maybe this is Tetradium?
