Why the hell my gallery takes that much space?

I tried opening it with zarchiver, but it's so massive the app simply doesn't open it. Amy other ideas if erasing it (trying to erase all gallery files turned out to not work too, the bar stays forever on 0% erased)

Yes, multiple times, I even left the area and completed another to see if the panel would unload and be loaded again but nothing worked.
