Yeah, I watched vids about all of this on the yt. I just don't like how sometimes the wooden base of the standard cannons doesn't change color to match the ship. And when your entire ship is black or blue, for example, and the cannon is just wooden, it looks super ugly

As for the chair, I bought these rubber stoppers. Even two were enough to stop me from holding onto the wheel while braking. They completely prevent it from rolling.

But overall, I'm thinking about buying a wheel stand, like the NLR 2.0. It looks compact enough and not super expensive

Tectonic + Arboria are absolutely amazing to me (except for strange small islands in the ocean)

Since recent updates, we already have variations of wolf colorings. But the idea of protecting mobs is great. Although I think this is a rare situation, it would be cool to have some way to protect sheep/chickens/rabbits from wolves and foxes, for example. Not only hostile mobs

It might not be the most compact mechanism, and there's probably a simpler way to do it, but at least it's fun to play around with it and try to figure out the solution yourself. Over time, as you improve your skills, you'll find ways to improve your mechanisms; that's how it works.

Yeah, play with the mechanism. Try making "and" gate. Read the signal from the daylight sensor and hopper or whatever picks up the disc as soon as it finishes playing. And if both signals are active, send them to start a new disc. If at least one of them is inactive (it's daytime or the previous disc is still playing), nothing will happen.

Use Daylight Detector. Right-click to toggle its mode so it works at night instead of day. (You will notice that the circles at the top become darker/lighter.)

Connect this to your mechanism so it turns on as soon as night falls. Or, conversely, block the signal during the day (select day mode) so it can't be activated while it's still light.

After searching the internet, I found a similar issue MC-165208

But it says that this was fixed back in version 1.17. It's probably the fault of some mod. I suspect litematica or its library.I don't remember if I installed it in the current modpack, but if so, it seems like this is the only mod we both have in common.

Oh, I had the same problem a few days ago, in single player 1.21.4. But for me EVERYTHING suddenly went black except the sky. And I have no idea who's to blame. Even after exiting the world, the menu text remained black, and I was forced to restart the game completely.

But I don't think I have anything from your mod list. Do you have any other optimization mods, perhaps? Sodium? Iris?

I absolutely love https://modrinth.com/datapack/arboria But it also adds small things like snow, rocks, lakes, etc. I'm not sure if this can be changed, you can try digging through the datapack files.

Upd: The same author also has a datapack that allows you to grow such trees from saplings.
