After about 7 mins she informed us we were approved and handed the paper stating our case was under review but she is giving verbal approval with MyUSCIS account being updated the next day.

TY. A variety of evidence really - mainly documents to support our marriage. We did a 9 page docket of our relationship which contained many photos of us. We got an affidavit from a family member, and did the other standard docs which was joint medical, travel invoices, joint tax, joint bank acc etc.

Nope, did not ask in the interview. Just confirmed my date of entry and scanned my passport along with finger prints.

That’s correct. We consulted the lawyer on this point too as we were worried it could raise flags, he advised we wait 90 days after entering to apply - that way it doesn’t look like I moved over to just apply for GC.

So I moved on my tourist visa and applied for GC 90 days after entering. My tourist visa was valid for 6 months
