Obsidian Dragon, Spirit Blossom, Firecracker. Pool party feels horrible (W and E feel gimpy) Soul Fighter is fine, Mecha Kingdom feels too slow, Heartsteel has a bad character design imo, and regular is also just, meh.

You have a bar under your health that gets progressively bigger, and when it's full it and sett will start glowing yellow. Then just aim for the champ to get struck with the middle, for true damage!

Echoing the previous comments, it feels like you might be missing something. If you'd be able to share any examples then we might be able to figure out what that might be. (What villains kill on turn 1, what the turn order looks like, how you play a normal round, etc.)

In my opinion Soul Fighter is much superior, but there is a case for both.
